*UPDATE* After a month of use I actually liked this enough to buy a second one on the black friday offer, one for my desk and one for the bedside night stand, I really like the fact that it still gets a proper charge while place horizontally (watching videos).*I've not heard of the Lecone brand before but I liked the fact that this charger looks like an ultra modern slimline speaker and the look fits right-in on my white and beech desk. The stand is well weighted and gripped. The centre of gravity seems low which means it is stable, there's a self adhesive rubber strip on the bottom which stops it skidding off the back of my desk, and it has a thick sculpted-lip on the base where the phone makes contact which stops it slipping and sliding and makes sure the metal frame didn't cause any scratches. On my wifes S7 it works well through the Spigen TPU case, which is a well built case so I'm quite impressed. My S8 works best when it's naked on the stand, but that's because I have a super thick leather case. Makes a refreshing change from the flat QI charger it is replacing, and it's more practical too because I can see the screen more easily now.

Sits on my desk, looks smart and does what it needs to do. There are 2 charging LEDs on the sides of the charging pad (which although is fabric, isn't soft) but these LEDs aren't disgustingly bright, so that's a bonus. The cable is hard wired into the back of the charger, with a USB-A end. Charges my Samsung S20 at 10W, but S20s have huuuge batteries so still takes around 3 hours for a full charge.

Yes, it’s a Qi charger and yes it it’s got a fabric coating on the front.Initial Impressions: So, now that we have finally gotten back to sticking Qi into phones, something I have missed for years since I retired using my old Nexus 5, I wanted a Qi charger back on my desk full time and if its going to be there all the time I want it to look good. Hitting up Amazon, this one well, it looks great in the photos doesn’t it. I mean the metal, the fabric it looks like a really fancy, premium object. Sure £20 is a bit expensive for a charger but its not crazy money so a couple clicks later, one was on its way.When the box came, it was smaller than I expected and when I opened it….. it was smaller still. Okay, not a deal breaker but I assumed the flat panel would be phone sized, modern phone sized. I mean I use a Pixel 4, not the xl but the Pixel 4 is huge in comparison. Still that’s not really a problem as it has two Qi charging thingys inside so the listing says it’ll cover pretty much anything. Hmm, I’m kinda wishing I’d got the grey / silver one but oh well.Aesthetics: It is fair to say this might be the best-looking Qi charger that I have ever seen. I really want the grey one to see what its like in the flesh. It looks, really really nice. I’m sure there are other nice-looking ones out there, but this one, its lush. It looks so modern, with the bare anodised metal and the soft fabric pad (yeah google suckered me into the whole fabric coated cases thing) its natural and tactile too. I really cannot fault the visuals on this little charger. It’s great, I really cannot fault it, except the cable.Build Quality: Excellent. It really is first class, I cannot fault it. Well……I do have one complaint though; it’s got a fixed cable. That I hate not least of which that I can’t decide what length to use so the cable gets left trailing and is ugly, and if it should die then you can’t swap it. Stupid move but otherwise, I can find no issues at all.Placement Sensitivity: Good, I never found it not to be picked up when I slapped it down but….. I would be lying if I ever did so with out then checking. I never had confidence with it, its size and another issue I’ll come to later just never gave me confidence in it.Charging Power: Well, this is part of where my confidence in this product took a beating. I had it connected to a powered USB 3 hub, by powered I mean hub with its own psu so each socket should be full power, not sharing 500mw. But…….. the Pixel 4 while it was below 50% battery I could put it on and it would seem to charge fine but when above that it would say its charging, on screen, wireless charging but the battery level would fall. Yep, says charging but battery charge level falls. This is a problem. This is why I never had confidence when using it. When I changed to connecting it do a USB power brick this issue seemed to go away but……… I never could just put the phone down and not keep checking back every 10 min.Value: I paid £20 and its just dropped to £16 for Black Friday, 20 is good value for it and 16 is great. It’s a super nice Qi charger and compared with what else is out there, this is really, really nice in the hand. I’m actually thinking about picking up a grey one too.Conclusion: I like it, mostly. Its looks are great, when plugged into a USB power brick it seems to work great too. I know I was always double checking it, and I still am but I believe that will fade in time. The only real downside to this thing is the fixed cable. What moron did that!! seriously!!! I hate that, so so so much when things have an attached cable. There is never a need for it on anything. Hate it. However, the rest of thing, well that I do like, I like a lot but here I find myself swaying between buying another and returning this one. The fixed cable I loathe and the issue I had with it saying its charging but not when plugged into a hub still makes me constantly worry its not really charging. This is a problem, maybe its unfair but it is what it is.Should you buy one, if you don’t mind the fixed cable then I’d say yes. Just be sure to plug it into a high output USB socket and you should have yourself a functional yet very good-looking charger on your hands. It really is excellent looking and doubles as a stand so you can notice notifications (particularly excellent for phones with an always on feature) so I’d say it is worth the full price at £20 and is a bit of a bargain at its current £16. I just wish so much that cable was removable.

I purchased this as a second wireless charger to go in my living room. The wireless charger came packed well with no other accessories in the box.The build quality feels great with a soft fabric surface to protect the back of your phone from scratches. The rest of the frame is made of bushed aluminium for a clean look.The device charges quite well. When you use a quick charge usb power supply your phone will be fast charged. This is significantly faster than standard wireless charging. I have tried this on both my Samsung s7 and s6. Both of them report fast charging.

This is a good price and it is an aesthetic looking stand. However it does not always charge my phone and sometimes requires a lot of adjusting to get it charging. I find it charges better in a landscape position. It will generally get there in portait mode but it takes some time. This will depend on your exact phone model I suppose.Occasionally it begjns charging but then stops for half a second and restarts and then stops/starts continuously until you take the phone away from the stand, give it a time out and then replace it. I think this is different to the positioning glitch, it must be some kind of software / compatability glitch.Ultimately if you need a charger that functions perfectly 100% of the time, this is not the one. But I find it a cheaper alternative and even if the phone is not charging it is a convenient stand. As it is my phone doesn't need to charge all day so its not too much of a problem for me although I am a little concerned when it starts/stops repeatedly in case anything untoward is going on.

I was concerned when people were mentioning the small size of this device as my iPhone 8 is hardly small. But I can reliably inform that it works without issue. I have this plugged in to a desk lamp that has two USB sockets so I have not set this up to be the ultimate fast charger though, I don't need it to be. I am usually say by it for hours which is plenty of time to get my phone to 100%. No issues so far but I will update if it breaks or does anything unexpected. Good looking little device.

Nice little charger. Not the fastest, but fine for my pixel 3. I have it setup next to the bed for overnight charging. Looks really good and matches my pixel 3 and Google fabric case.

Molto curato il design ed i materiali, funziona molto bene (iPhone 14 con ricarica veloce).Funziona benissimo anche con il cellulare in posizione orizzontale, posso sfruttare il display “always on” del mio cellulare!

Das Ladegerät sieht super aus, ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und funktioniert ohne Probleme. Echt top! Für einen aufgeräumten Schreibtisch macht das schon was her.Die LED Anzeige ist auch praktisch, jedoch kann man diese nicht ausschalten, was nachts ein bisschen stören kann, wenn irgendwo im Zimmer ein blaues Licht leuchtet.Der Stoff ist sehr wertig und passt toll zum Aluminiumrahmen. Ich würde das Produkt jederzeit wieder kaufen.Die Ladeleistung ist gefühlt gut. Da das Handy meistens nachts geladen wird, ist es fast egal wie lange eine Ladung dauert. Es ist nur auffällig, dass sich das Handy ein bisschen erwärmt. Aber alles im Rahmen, und auch normal für induktives Laden. Tatsächlich könnte das sogar besser für den Akku sein. Ob der Akku damit auch länger hält, wird sich zeigen.

Ich benutze die Ladestation mit meinem LG G6 und es lädt zuverlässig. Ich hatte bisher nie Probleme, dass ich das Handy neu daraufstellen oder leicht verschieben musste. Das Handy steht jede Nacht in der Station.Meines Erachtens außerdem eine der schickeren Stationen auf dem Markt.Zu Ladeleistung kann ich leider nicht viel sagen.
