This is a pretty dark color. You can make a dark color work with a few tips of moisturizing and using a lip brush to tone down the color. This one is a little different matte because it has a shimmery look to the color. Usually mattes are flat.I love a good matte lipstick because I hate stickiness from lipstick, mattes stay on longer, and mattes look better on me. Mattes can be hard to use. Mattes can be drying, stick to the dryness on your lips, and feel uncomfortable because they are so dry. There are a few tips to applying mattes and make these mattes great lipsticks. First, I apply something moisturizing to my lips first like a gloss or another lipstick. Then, I apply with a lip brush. The prior gloss keeps the lipstick from sticking to dryness and keeps the lipstick from feeling dry on your lips while still looking matte and feeling good on the lips. The lip brush is very necessary to not apply too much and to look nice. With those application tips, this matte lipstick is a great lipstick. It looks wonderful, stays on, and feels great. This is especially necessary on the darker shades.

Not crazy about this shade at all. The color swatch in the photos made it look like a warm reddish-plum color, with maybe some copper tones. Instead when it dries it's like an black-brown color with copper tones. Not at all what I was looking for.

I have tried several colors and finishes with this type of gloss/lipstick. I like the gloss best, but I like this color best. These are non transparent and go on very thick. They are high quality and do not hurt or dry my lips, but overall I think I am looking for something more transparent that I have to apply more often. I didn't like the product overall, but I gave it three stars because it does what it says it is supposed to do, I simply don't like the thickness and finish.

4TIFY Bold Bright Liquid Matte Lipstick, Bella, 2.5gI really love this lip gloss. You apply it with a good sized doe-foot application that has a nice texture to it and the container is basic matte black with a frosted plastic cylinder to hold the gloss. The color applies evenly and is a bit on the sparkly side and it leaves a residue of color once the gloss has faded it dries down to nice finish. Bella is a pinky-brown shade that has an almost multichrome finish with a slight shimmer when the gloss is wet.As it dries down it leaves a bit of a stain and leaves a beautiful dark tan color behind. The color does last about 4 hours with the shimmer with one application. I found that it does wear off a bit when eating or drinking. It is moisturizing and didn't lead to any rebound dryness. You can use this as a topper to other lipstick and it really changes the color of your base. Left by itself, you can use one light stroke or build it up to a really dark shade. This is a really heavily pigmented darker neutral shade that works with a lot of looks.Apparently, there’s a method to the matte-ness:• Exfoliate your lips, to get rid of any loose bits and dead skin.• Then you apply lip balm or other lip moisturizer.• Then outline your lips with a lip pencil.• Fill in with the matte lipstick.• You can add depth by layering on a gloss or second shade.Things to keep in mind. It dries quickly and is heavily pigmented so it goes on easily and spreads while it's still wet. This formula lasts a long, long time and should be removed using a gentle makeup remover or cold cream.

This liquid matte lipstick is pretty comparable to other liquid matte ones that I have tried. The color is a dark, chocolate berry shade. It dries pretty quickly leaving behind a stained lip look. It lasts for a few hours with minimal transfer on cups, etc. If you want to remove it right away, I found that I needed to use a lip scrub and even then I couldn't get it all off. It's not sticky or tacky.

I love this 4TIFY Bold Bright Liquid Matte Lipstick in Bella. Packaging is good. Application is smooth and easy so long as you've prepared your lips sufficiently (exfoliate and moisturize). Staying power is excellent. Scent is very nice, a light vanilla. The color is intriguing, a kind of brown with superfine coppery sheen that gives it depth and character. It's great as a first layer that can be modified with something shinier. And it's also good without anything extra as a lipstick on its own. I can only wear it by itself if I've moisturized really well, but when I do that it also is longest lasting for me.
