Naisian Dynatron CF-003 Crossflow Blower for 1U / 2U Servers and Narrow Enclosures

Brilliant used it in somewhere where it wasn't even designed for, did the job quietly and VERY well also has a lower power consumption for similar applications, if that matters. (note: the case was NOT designed to fit said fan, but it increased the cooling and worked so well that I prefer to use it instead of something else)

I am attempting to create a quieter 1u server and this fit the need perfectly. Just wide enough to replace 3 screamingly loud 40mm fans. With a little ducting it is helping cool the dual cpu's. Super quiet product. The only complaint I have is that you have to turn the fan on to determine which direction the air outputs. The air comes out at an angle so if you are blowing air over CPUs you have to be careful of that.

First off this product showed up one day after i ordered it.. HUGE plus. secondly depending on your application for this fan/blower it works just awesome. i recently put together a phone server using a ASRock Rack Mini ITX DDR3 1333 Motherboards C2550D4I in a 1u that had side fans, because of the placement of the ram DIMMs the side fans were useless, and the temps were higher then i would typically like for system going out the door.(cpu around 41c and MB around 57c) so i ordered this to place perfectly beside the board flowing over the passive cpu cooler. now i'm down to 30c for the cpu and 37c for the MB what a improvement!! and this is with all of the case fans disconnected! noise now is comparable to being able to have this thing sit on my desk! will be ordering more for other deployments.

I needed to replace the supplied fans in my 1U rack mount case for a home server as the noise of the supplied fans sounded like a small jet plane was taking off. This blower has no speed control, but is amazingly silent. Air flow is sufficient for my 77 watt CPU. If you want to get rid of the extreme noise in some servers this is a great solution. I only wish it had some form of speed control, it is a 3 socket not 4. Overall it's a great solution to replace very loud server case fans.

These work really well, they are quiet and move a decent amount of air. HOWEVER; they do not blow air straight through, they blow air at a 30ish degree angle upwards, so in my particular application it was just blowing air upwards and skimming the heatsinks instead of being blown through the heatsinks. It was also very quiet.

These are decent fans. No issue so far. I have about eight of these in various 1U cases. They are quiet and work well in my home environment.

This is surprisingly quiet, if I wasn't aware that it was already in my NAS I wouldn't be able to tell it was there.

Worked great fit in my 1U case and much quieter than the 2 fans I had, moved more air too.
