Small, functional, and decent quality
It's a bit smaller than I pictured, but it works. I wish the keyboard tray could fit both keyboard and mouse, but my keyboard takes up 95% of the space. This would be perfect for a child's room, or where space is an issue like a studio apartment. The desk arrived damaged despite being packaged quite nicely. I quick call to customer support, and a hassle free replacement part with additional hardware is on its way. The desk goes together quite well, and despite being partical board, feels quite durable and decent quality- unlike the partical board shelfs i have from walmart. The instructions could be a bit more clear, especially on adding the sliding hardware. I put this together myself in about 3 hours, however I'm decently handy person. Someone not handy, and has not assembled much furniture may struggle. I do recommend to take your time, don't be a rush, and wait to assemble on a day that adulting has not frustrated you or you will fail at this desk. #Adulting fail. The backing behind the shelf and drawer does not cover the full back, which is odd to me but also shown in the instructions. Hiding cords with this desk is a challenging- i ended up tapeing my power supply to the back behind the keyboard, which worked out quite well. (Make sure any tape is nowhere near any plug out switch). Over all, it wasn't exactly what i wanted, but for it is, id give it 5 stars and would recommend.

Easy to assemble, sturdy, and a great company to work with.
When we received the product the main desktop was damaged. When I called to request a replacement I was blown away at how easy the process was. Within minutes we had confirmation and within the week the replacement had arrived in a very secure package. The assembly process was painless and I was able to do it on my own. The desk is good quality, sturdy, and has plenty of room. We were able to fit a full tower PC into the shelving area while still allowing the drawer to function normally, which is hard to find. It's nice to keep all of that tucked away. The keyboard tray is a bit small, we have to tuck the mousepad a bit under the left side of the keyboard, but it's at a good height to sit ergonomically with the monitor being on the upper shelf. My only other potential issue is the upper shelf not being securely attached to the desktop. It's not floating, there are some dowels holding it in place, but it is easy to pull up if you forget. This is actually a good thing if you decide you don't want that shelf and would rather have the full desktop at one level.

Took the Pics Shortly After
I live in pretty small place with my fiance. He personally have a pretty big desk since he uses the tv as a monitor. I personally like smaller desks since I only use a laptop and some writing space. I was worried of its quality when buying it due to the price, but it turned out pretty nice. There were very minor damages but barely noticeable. Took me about 3 hours to put it together by myself.. The instructions were kind of confusing at first but that's probably just me being a 19 year old. I think this desk is the perfect size for a small person like me (I'm like 5'1) that is not using much. One of the things that I dislike about this desk is the drawer tends to collide with the top of the desk so it kinda makes this thump sound so can't be super quiet. Another is the section at the bottom the drawer. It's not secured in place so you can adjust how high or low which isn't bad but the little pieces that holds the piece of wood for the sectioning tends to twist and turn if there's too much movement so the piece of wood would fall down which sucks. I suggest to just decide where you want how big the section should be and super glue it or just leave the piece out. Otherwise this desk is pretty sturdy for its price.

great little desk
shorter than i thought it would be but it definitely works. glad i didn't buy the chair yet so i know what to look for now. all but one of the rails came bent and amazon refunded me for keeping a damaged product but they would have helped me get new rails if i hadn't needed the desk right away. they straightened out enough to be functional when i screwed them down tight. easy enough to put together alone. i did it in about an hour. getting it out of the packaging is kinda tough and i had help but if you give it some grit you can do it. the drawer isn't white on the inside so that threw me off but it all looks good and isn't obnoxious. picture included just so it doesn't catch anyone else offguard. also the middle piece shown on the hutch portion doesn't quite touch the top of the desk. i would have secured that with a cam lock if i could have. all the pieces are covered in sawdust as pictured, so i recommend wiping it all down after putting it together. that shouldn't prevent you from buying it. overall a really great desk for the price and quite attractive for pressboard. thought about docking a star for the minor issues but honestly i'm very happy with this desk. i wanted something cheap and functional and this is exactly that.

Very nice desk - but don't spill anything on it.
I purchased this desk 6 months ago, and have used it on a daily basis. It is small, and fits together nicely. I have had no problems with the drawer or the keyboard tray (a major reason I purchased this desk). It is small, but that's what I wanted: I am 5 foot 2 and I can sit at the computer in my chair, have my feet reach the floor and have the (non-adjustable) keyboard tray at a good height, ergonomically. My only issue - and the reason this is a 3 instead of a 4 or 5 - is that the finish is, indeed, fragile. I had intended to get a piece of glass to cover the desk, but "got busy". Of course, a glass cover would only have covered part of the desk given that it has a hutch. And, today, I evidently knocked my lidded cup over when I left the room. I came back an hour later and found out that it had tipped over and a little - let me emphasize little - bit of water spilled from the straw.. I now have 4 raised splotches on my desk, ranging from dime to quarter size, where the drops of water fell. I will keep using the desk, and I will go get a glass top for it (I can probably I could put a photo underneath the glass and hide the spots), but be warned: the finish does not mix with water. If I had spilled a normal cup instead of my insulated cup with screw-top lid and straw, the desktop would have been totally ruined. So please, if you buy it, take precautions.

Do not ever purchase this desk if you’re looking for quality.
So let me start off with the desk was suppose to come Saturday(11/3) said it was out for delivery never came. Same for Sunday. Then Monday comes, finally it is delivered. It was raining. The driver dropped it off in my flower bed, ON TOP of a bush and smooshed it. Also never rang my doorbell. I have ring so I can see the video clip of him coming up and everything. So about 30 minutes after he delivered it I notice it’s out there. I go grab it bring it in. Open it about a hour ago and put it together. This desk was not purchased for just a normal desk I needed this by a certain date, for a new work from home job I started. My first 3 days were on the floor. Anyways, I get the desk, open and install. As you can tell by the pictures this bad boy has already seen better days. I am a girl, and did not man handle this by any means. And stuck it on a dolly to bring it in my office from outside. The drawer is smaller cracks on top and get wider, the shelf has HUGE chips going down the edge, the front has a huge chip which is a huge eye sore. The middle of the shelf doesn’t even touch the top of the desk because there’s so way to screw it down. It is so tacky. And I already put it up, it would be such a pain to take it down put it in a new box, manage to get it in my car to bring it to ups to return it. That’d be so much hassle. So now I’m stuck with this $100 tacky eye sore half broken desk. If it seen how badly it was damaged in a store I wouldn’t even pay $50 for it. It looks like it belongs on a items returned clearance rack. I’m SO upset about this. I know it seems petty, but seriously nothing came good of this desk. Now I’m out the $100 I spent on it. And I’m stuck with it. I definitely recommend not purchasing this desk.

This desk is 10/10 ^^ very happy. I've been looking for a desk with keyboard ...
This desk is 10/10 ^^ very happy. I've been looking for a desk with keyboard tray(height around 26in) so I can have my hands at 90 degrees with my chair at the lowest height so my legs are also 90 degrees and touching the floor. I'm very sensitive with my wrists and knees so I need near perfect angles for max comfortability. This desk has given to me what I thought would require building my own desk. This desk has given me minimalistic ergonomic desk which I've been looking for. The setting up was pretty easy lol ONCE I found my rubber screwdriver and my collection of screw heads which made it 5x easier. Though I will say putting in the screws ALL the way with a normal screwdriver with a hard handle will hurt your hands but this was only the part for the keyboard tray. This desk only at a $100 perfect price couldn't have found a better desk online. These negative reviews really made me question whether I should buy because like a good 30% are negative reviews but since honestly out of most desks I barely found ones with keyboard and lower than 30in height and so I took a chance and HAHAHA made the right choice with desk. BTW negative reviews help a business stay on their toes of where they can improve on and satisfy the customer. When I was having trouble finding the screws for keyboard tray I called South Shore and this very nice lady picked up sigh should've asked for her name but when I asked her I don't have the screws for tray she said the screws have been switched from the packet with instructions and picture of old screws on them and emailed me in a second the new screws they were using and it's funny becuase these screws came with package but I didn't pay attention because they weren't on first packet but after I finished talking and finished desk I starting tearing up box because was done with it and in process I found the missing paper she was talking about the ADDENDUM and I felt silly after word but the point is their customer service is on top very quick to respond and help out. P.S I would have pictures of beautiful finish but mmmhhmmm me to lazy ^>^. South Shore very trustworthy and definitely will order from them again.

Great for Kids!
Wonderful desk for kids. We purchased 2 for the kids' rooms. Both were well packaged and arrived quickly and without any damage. Instructions are just okay, but the pictures were easy to follow. Designed like IKEA furniture. It took us 45 minutes to assemble each one. Sturdy when in use, though we don't plan to move them around. Great value at $110. Quality reflects the price, but is good for long-term use if not moved around too much. Probably too small for an adult with a computer. I'm a petite woman and it's small for me to use with a laptop. Not really space for a large monitor or leg room for someone tall. The keyboard tray is nice with or without a keyboard - not much room for a large keyboard and mouse though. Best for kids and teenagers or for use as a secretary desk for an adult. Would highly recommend!
