Improvement over the standard Fuji tripod mount, but misses a great opportunity
The built-in Arca-Swiss mount is very nice to have. But the foot could be bigger, with a wider gap between it and the lens, then it could double as a carrying handle. As it is, I can only just get my fingers around it. The XF100-400 is quite a heavy lens, and I worry about the strain on the lens mount when just carrying the camera with the neck strap.

Perfect replacement. Much better than original.
I bought this to replace the foot which comes supplied with the Fujinon 100-400mm lens. The Fuji foot is much too small and doesn't sit well in my Arca Swiss mount. This is longer and far more sturdy. Sits perfectly. Recommended!
