UTK Far Infrared Neck Heating Pad for Pain Relief, Jade Heating Wraps for Knee,Wrist and Cramps - 3 Heat Settings, EMF Free and Bag Included

I have just received and unpacked the UTK Far Infrared Neck Heating Pad for Pain Relief, Jade Heating Wraps for Knee,Wrist and Cramps. This unit is advertised to wrap around one's neck, knee and wrist. My attempt to wrap around my neck has the unit literally choking me! The unit has velcro "hook tabs" at both ends, designed to attach to the fabric of each end of the straps. At the very widest/loosest attachment points the unit is unbearably tight and is choking me. Even if I could make the attachment point the two velcro hook tabs ( I can't) it is still too tight to be tolerated. There is absolutely no possible way this unit can be securely attached to treat and warm my knees, I've tried. Also the velcro hook pads at each end of the straps are substandard, I've never seen velcro hook attachments that were this weak. A simple solution would be to include a strap extender... to successfully fit all sizes of necks, knees etc it would have to be at least 10 to 12 inches. I was quite excited to receive and use this neck pad and now after trying it on I must report I am completely disappointed. If there was a way to give zero stars I would. I am curious as to how the manufacturer/seller will address this issue!

This is exactly what I've been wishing for! ...A small wrap to wrap around my knee while I am driving, or riding in a vehicle!I already have 2 other sizes of Far Infrared mats (38"x21" and 15"x19"). I have had osteoarthritis in my back for many years. Nov. 17, 2017 my husband was critically injured in a head on- collision. I am very blessed to still have my husband. His intense care had a domino effect on my body. I developed inflammation in my back, which caused my knees to swell, be stiff and very painful. It was very difficult for me to get up and down from chairs, etc., causing both of my rotator cuffs to tear. I was on pain meds 24/7! I was on the recliner most of the day and night suffering with a lot of pain. The surgeon said I need a knee replacement, which is not an option at the present. I took therapy for my knee and shoulders with no relief. We purchased our first mat and decided to get another smaller one as well. BLESSED RELIEF!! I sleep in bed again! I lay on the large pad and use the smaller size to lay on top of my knees! I seldom take any pain pills anymore! I am much more mobile again, and am able to garden, and mow our lawn. We are are very greatful!

I bought this heating pad 2 months ago. It fits neck best but also OK for other sites. Unfortunately, 1/4 stone was not heating so I return it and left comment about the defect. I really like the design and tried to re-order one but is was out of stock. So, I ordered a different, slightly cheaper brand. But I immediately return it after only one use, due to bad odor and quality.Later, I bought 2nd UTK Neck heating pad when it became available. Unfortunately, again one stone has no heat. This time I contacted customer service (Vivian) who sent email to me through Amazon. About 2 weeks later, I received a new upgraded version (8 stones). I have been using this pad for my knee/wrist/elbow (though not the best fit) for two weeks and so far it works well for my aching joints/tendons. To avoid potential burn when using the H heat setting, I place a cotton cloth layer.This is one of the best customer service experience I have ever had. They are really there to help you. I will update my review a few months later.

It heats nicely. Good benefit that itcan be conveniently used on multipleplaces. The design is awkward for the neck but I just lay this item whereverI need relief. Happy with purchase

The neck band material feels stiff around my neck, velcro does not hold the bands together well at all.Controller has "No/Off" writing, not "On/Off" and even I turn it off the light does not go off......?When having neck ache, I want something soft and warm around my neck, not something that reminds me of neck brace from car accident injury. Have to return.

Other neck heating pads with either square or straight band shaped design do not get high enough to reach the base of the skull. The UTK shape allows me to get the unit and the heat reaching high enough on my neck to where my pain is. It conforms to my neck the way other heating pads can’t. It is a gentle deep heat The far infrared technology and jade stones along with the design gives me great relief. While the high setting is perfect for my neck, I haven’t tried it on knees or elbows yet and think I might want it hotter. I have used the UTK large heating pads on back and expect the same quality and performance from this. I noticed that it runs on 12 volts. I would love to be able to plug this into my car! The heating pad and adapter comes in a nice small travel bag.

I purchased the previous USB-based version of this neck heating pad and benefit greatly from it. I use it almost every day to help alleviate chronic neck pain in the morning. I just purchased this new version of the product and it is even better. The jade wellness stones that you see in the photo are amazing. Well done TDK. You have managed to make an already amazing product even better.

I like how the pad straps around the neck to hold it tight. It only covers a small area but it very effective for the neck with stones that go on each side of the spine. The heating pad gets nice and hot with 3 adjustable settings. I'm finding this very beneficial for my neck pain.
