Great food to have for backpacking, camping, or emergency “go-bags”. I really enjoy the risotto pesto. It was full if flavor and very hearty. The Oatmeal was on the bland side, but full disclosure, I’m not a huge Oatmeal person on any other day. The pasta with Marinara is hearty, filling, and full if flavor too. I like the simplicity of ingredients, the flavor, and the fact I get the calories I need without feeling empty or overloaded with gross amounts of carbs.

The quality of flavor is amazing! I’ve tried A LOT of backpacking food but this brand is great.

Good if you're traveling and hungry

The food cooked up well as instructed. These portions are big enough for two moderate eaters to share especially with the added grilled chicken. Prep was super easy and the results were tasty! I added grilled chicken to the pouch for additional protein. I'd buy again in different flavors.

I had really high hopes for this purchase since the brand and products seem to have great reviews all over the internet.My wife and I come from a Southeast Asian ethnic background so maybe that's why our expectations were really high for the Asian flavors. To add more context...the food was very heavy with spices and herbs but bland with not much flavor.Unfortunately, my wife and I ended up throwing them away after a few bites. Luckily...we had other food with us on our weekend camping trip. After our trip, we felt we were better off buying instant food items from our local Asian market. It would be cheaper and more tasty. We also felt we would be better off meal prepping, freezing homemade dishes in a zip-lock bag, and boiling them to reheat when we're ready to eat. Yes..it would be a little extra work but it would be worth it and more cost effective.Overall 3 star review:PROS - great idea on dehydrating food and convenience.CONS - pricy, overwhelming spices/herbs, and lack of flavors.Constructive feedback moving forward:Connect with cooks or chefs to really understand what flavors should be included in dishes. There are so many resources out there in today's world of advancing technology. If there are restrictions, such as allergies or dietary choices (vegetarian or vegan), research possible alternatives. Prior to product launch or release, conduct testing or panels to gather feedback.

If you are looking for something that is packable, light and taste good, right here. Thse are good, they are vegan however you can add tuna or chicken that comes in the small single serving packs.

Only one meal was delivered instead of all three. Just like several other reviewers reported. Luckily, I was able to navigate a refund.

Pros: These are really tasty in my humble opinion. They put in a good amount and variety of spices, so if that's not something you're into, beware.Cons: A little pricey :(

Package was unstapled, one of 3 meal bags and a lose tag tag of “the weekender” cardboard tag was in the package. Hardly a mistake in my eyes.
