Hardcover!
I've had a lot of friends ask me if there's a hardcover version of HoL. There is, and this is it!Came in fantastic condition, and went on my shelf next to my paperback copy.It doesn't have the inner cover with the pictures like the paperback, but it is full color. So, no jacket, yes hardback, yes full color. If you're a hardcover fan you'll love it!

One of the hardest, and most rewarding, books I've read.
I began reading House of Leaves more than a decade ago, but didn't finish until several years after I started. I still have the original copy that I "extended borrowed" from the library (I'm a sinner, I know), and I look at it every now and then fondly. The book is not for everyone. There may in fact be very few people it's really for; certainly it's gotten a lot of critical reception and innumerable people have picked it up just to put it down before the 50th page. But that doesn't mean that it should be ignored, not by a long shot. If you get the chance, I very much suggest you give it a shot. It's probably not something that'll really be a hit with you. But if it is, you'll become like the rest of us: worn copy lovingly stashed away somewhere that you can look at and remember the thoughts and feelings it dredged up within you.I don't think I'll ever read it again in it's entirety, but compared to anything else I've read, it stands above them. Maybe it's not as good as I remember, but hey, even if that's the case I got much more out of it than I expected, and so did many other people

Absolute favorite book in the history of ever.
Friends, this book is life changing. I've bought it and given it away at least a dozen times. It isn't a novel it is a force of nature. Psychological horror and true life grit... all three protagonists' stories parallel their exquisite descent into madness perfectly. I may even say Lovecraft would be pleased!Ingore the folks who said it was confusing and couldn't understand the characters' stories. The obvious typology makes it reeaally easy to tell who is narrating; Times New Roman (Zampanò), Courier (Johnny), Bookman (The Editors), and Dante (Pelafina).Alsooo, super cool that his sister (Poe) made an album (Haunted) about this book then her music is referenced in the book.By the end I wanted the The Navidson Record to be real sooooo bad! Haha

What do pit fighters , spiders and a Trout have in c○mm○n?
This book has been bought and given away by me so many times. I still cant even think ok anything that is like it.Circle into a mans personal psychosis brought on by a manuscript by a man about a film about a family in a house about the walls behind the walls.Wow!I love this book.
