I bought these to keep my squirrels and birds from eating my grapes, and so far it's been a success! The only thing that could be better is if they were a bit easier to close -- the material is stiff, and requires a bit of force to close them, which is hard to do w/o knocking the grapes off of the vine. The earlier that you place them, the better.

I love this product. Its covers the grapes very good. You can zip tie or use the string on it. Very good value for your money.

So far these bags worked pretty well on my peppers. Did not work on my melon :( they chewed right through the bag.

Did not work as expected. I bought this to prevent fruit flies from attacking my cayenne guava, but it did not work and I think it is because the tie/drawstring at the top was not closing/pulling tight enough and therefore, the flies were still entering the bag and destroying the fruit. I gave it a 3-star because it works well to store vegetables in the fridge, so I repurposed it.

Love these bags. Birds were pecking at all my ripe tomatoes. So I covered them in these bags. Got two sizes 10 x 14 and 6 x 10 one size for the larger groups of big tomatoes and one for the small tomatoes or a single big tomato. Birds gave up and went to my neighbors to peck their tomatoes.

I love these. Strong and durable. String doesn’t tie well but not a big deal just use a rubber band or twist tie. I use to keep fruit flies off of tomatoes, to add an extra layer of protection to my fermentation jars and hanging peppers or seed pods to dry. Definitely recommend

I bought these bags as an upgrade from organza gift bags, for protection against bugs and squirrels. Organza bags work great against bugs, but squirrels rip through them easily. These bags work against bugs too, but are much harder to use, as the red string is hard and needs to be tied, instead of just pulled like an organza bag. That may be worth the effort if it added protection, but it does not, as the attached photo demonstrates. Squirrels will pull off one bag after another until they get one open. These bags are going in the trash bin.

These ones are good solid material and thick. way stronger than those other ones on amazon that look like candy gift bags.(they good for bugs but useless for birds) specially cockatoos in Australia. these ones hold up to Cockatoos.

I am a victim of squirrels and bunnies. My apple tree had a beautiful bloom this year and was full of apples but squirrels found them out *again* (like last year - last year was the 1st time our tree produced some apples but squirrels took all of them out). They chop the apple off, take a bite and leave it on the ground to burn my heart and soul and move to the next apple. *sigh* .. well I got these bags then and put them on remaining 15-16 apples. Honestly, I was not sure if the bags will actually be able to save them but yes!! they did save the apples. It will be our first year to enjoy some apples from our own tree in the backyard. These are good quality bags and bugs etc. cannot get into them. Light and wind can reach inside the bags. The ones that I have on apples have not lost their quality due to rain or extreme hot weather this year. If you have similar problems, these bags are worth a shot.
