Bought this for my BMW X5 2014, a bit skeptical at first but decided to get since I have the run flat tires but needed to do rear brakes and I did not have the stock key. The unit comes with the replacement for my car and more, I did not want to go to the dealer since they want to charge you over $400 just to replace the pads. Lock fits and pads installed for $180. Thank you guys.

I bought this in spite of all the bad reviews thinking this will work for me. My wheels are always torqued to 90ft/lb so you can easily take them off by hand so I thought this would hold. I needed a replacement key and thought this would do it. But, its not even close. The tolerance on these are horrible. There is a ton of wiggle room when you put the key in. Hence, when you apply any kind of pressure to it, it just slips out of the lock. I tried propping it with my knee and it slipped inside the lock this time as there is too much wiggle room in there. Its like using an imperial socket to take off a metric nut or bolt. It may appear to work at first but if you apply too much pressure it will strip the crap out of it.This product is complete trash. Do not waste your money on it.

A lovely set but i got the job done b4 i got it

I needed a specific socket part to remove the lug nuts off a BMW. I ordered this set hoping to find the one I needed. When I received the set one of the sockets was damaged but thankfully it wasn't the size I needed so I was happy that I got the right one and got the job done. Other than that one damaged part, I was happy with the set.

I have a used BMW that of course it didnt come with a lug key. I bought this set figuring it was less expensive then paying the dealer to remove my lock lugs and I get a set of new tools. Win/win right? Not so much. Did it work? Sort of. It worked on 3 and stripped out on the last one. These are extremely soft metal and not hardened. The tolerance is also off by a good bit. Three of the security lugs could fit on mine, and all had a good bit of play. Probably not ideal when only one out of the set is supposed to fit. Not only did it strip the key but it also ruined my lock lug so now I have to replace those as well. This set will clearly not hold up to repeated use. My reccomendation is either buy a better set or have the dealer order you the correct key.

Got my wheel off with no problems great product if you lose your wheel locks

fitment is bad and by looking at it, the build quality is poor.i tried to unlock a nut using the lightest force necessary, but the teeth on the key bent on the first try.i was shocked how poor it was built.
