I am 5’6” 170lbs and usually wear a size 12. These were a longer and looser fitting short, as described. The waist came up to just below my belly button. The only thing I didn’t like is that the fly is held together with velcro and the only tie is at the top. It makes it a little less secure than I would like, but it’s definitely not in danger of falling off or anything. Overall this is a good pair of shorts for swimming or other outdoor activities.

Fits as sized and sits just below the waist. Waistline does not adjust but it worked for me. Also does not bunch up at the inner thighs, as many beach shorts do, when walking.

These are super comfortable and very lightweight and have a nice fit, snug in the hips but not too snug in the thighs. I use them on the boat when we dive, for snorkeling and also just for lounging around the house. The color is exactly as shown and very pretty.

The ones with pockets vs the ones with the little split and the sea horse must fit very differently - so be aware of which you're reading about. I got the split ones with the sea horse. The XL fits like a loose 8 or a snug 10. I'm going to return them for an XXL, which seems insane since I usually wear a 10! Definitely size up - WAY up!

Great color, fit and look. They are lightweight and dry quickly. I love that they offer the perfect length as it is hard to find shorts that actually provide some coverage. Only negative is that they do not have side pockets except for a small pocket on the side of the leg. Other than that, these shorts are great.

I'm 5'5" and wear size 14 pants.ATTRACO Women Board Shorts I purchased XX-Large (US 12-14).I generally don't like velcro, but this was designed nicely and folds so you don't see the velcro. The ties are not bulky at all and adds a nice detail. The fabric is very nice too, soft.But I'm returning - they are too small.

The black ATTRACO women’s board shorts are very different from the aqua color of the same brand/description. They do NOT have the elastic waist in the back so there will be a gap at your lower back if you have a smaller waist. Also, they are at least an inch shorter and a 1/2 inch smaller in the thighs than the aqua color. I ordered the medium in the aqua and medium in the black, but the tag on the black is completely different as well, reading an actual size 6. I typically wear a size 6 but without the elastic back, I will be returning them.

I don't love these, but I haven't worn them yet. I tried them on and they look big in the legs but fit well in the waist. I will keep as they will work.
