The product title states the hat's "100-Percent Cotton" and yet the description states "poly/cotton." Which is it?

The one I just received, August 2022, is 100% cotton.

How does this brand compare to True Spec?

I have both. I ordered this hat after getting the Tru-Spec. The Tru-Spec is similar but where its material makes contact with the forehead it's rough, abrasive, and uncomfortable. The Propper is more comfortable/lighter, looks better from my perspective, and maintains a less wrinkled appearance even after laundering. The adjustable hat size is a good Tru-Spec feature, but not good enough to beat the Propper.

Is this hat supposed to be sloped on the top? The side wall in the front measures 2.5" & back is 3.5" Looks like more material on top 2

Boonie hats made to military specifications by US government contractors will be slightly higher in the back compared to the front, by design. This may not be true for military style knockoffs such as fishing-hats, sun-hats, or rain-hats made by designers for the civilian market.

I wear a 7 3/8 hat size (23"). Only 7 1/4 and 7 1/2 sizes are available. Which size should I order?

I wear a 7 5/8" hat and i have the 3/4" and its obviously loose, but its comfortable. If you like your hat to fit tight enough to not need the drawstring, go with the 1/4". However, if youd like a more relaxed look/ fit, then go with the 1/2".
