Does what is says. Use it to contour patterns for tool holders to cut with bandsaw

Really cheap no way to lock it in place.

I wouldn't even give it one star, but it wouldn't take zero stars. Returned it immediately, cheap peice of junk. The fingers moved just by moving it around. Amazon quickly refunded my purchase.

Was a little nervous about the quality, not flimsy or too cheap feeling. Excited to use around the rock fireplace & other tricky spots around the house.

The pins are too tight to be useful in any way! when you push in on a curved surface, the pins at the margins of the curve push LATERALLY , NOT inward. Thus, when you lock the shape and pull it off, the marginal pins FLEX back to the original position. NOW, the contour in the gauge is TOO NARROW to fit the actual curved item! NO way to loosen the tension /resistance on the back and forth pin movement. Returned it! USELESS!

easy to use...love it

Would have been nice to have a lock but it does give you a template to work with and that’s what we needed.

This product works fabulous great investment.
