My hygienist recommended this mouthwash and I am wishing I'd found it sooner. I have mild gum disease and have lost a few teeth due to my struggle with bad genetics and my anxiety about dentists. My dental hygiene habits suffered over the years as a result.The harsh mouthwashes like Listerine and some of the others were burning my mouth and when I'd use it at night they'd make the skin around my mouth break out and the corners of my lips were cracking. I just never felt like they really got my mouth as clean because by morning I'd have even worse breath and felt like I'd been chewing on batteries all night. So, I did not use mouth wash as frequently as I should have and you can guess the rest of it. Did you know brushing only cleans about a quarter of your mouth?? I have 4 crowns in my mouth and it can be a real pain to really feel like I've gotten in there and handled business.CloSYS makes my mouth feel cleaner, for longer. I am not seeing the tartar and plaque build-up creep up as quickly and when I use this religiously at night and in the morning I rarely experience the bad breath I did using Listerine.YES, it does have a slight chlorine-odor/taste to it but once it gets in your mouth and you're swishing it around, it diminishes right away. It feels like cool water with a hint of mint. That taste does not linger. I felt like I'd just gently rinsed with water, only my mouth was SO clean and stayed clean for hours.It may not cure cavities as some of the other reviews on here are saying but it will definitely put a big dent in the amount of bacteria and build-up forming in your mouth. There is a more mild version than this (but I doubt you'll need it) and the senior version which I bought for my parents (and they love!).Long story short-- if you hate mouthwash and avoid it, try this instead. It is so gentle and works so much better.

One of the bottles was cracked open when I opened it. It leaked onto the plastic wrapping, so I had half a bottle left of it. Damn shame, because I waited a month for them only for this to happen.I haven't had much use of it just yet, don't know it's lasting effects, but it does leave a minty flavor in your mouth.

I was skeptical at first, but after using it a while, I've discovered it does work as well as standard alcohol-based mouthwash.And then there's the benefit of it not burning, which doesn't bother me, but will be a huge plus to some.It doesn't appear to work overnight if used every night, but same for standard mouthwash. What works better is alternating.But for those who have difficulty tolerating the burn of alcohol, this will work better because those individuals can rinse longer, since this has absolutely no bad taste and no burning sensation whatsoever.

I almost exclusively use this to add to my water reservoir for my water pik. It makes that process much fresher and helps with the cleanliness (according to my dentist, what the heck do I know about it?) I was advised not to use any mouthwash that had dye in it and I did once just thinking I could get away with it but it was harsh on my gums and I will never do it again! I promise! Unlike that, this product is great for that - not harsh and doesn't sting. It's great.I do not like the product for simple swishing or gargling as it has a faint bleachy taste, but I have used several bottles over the last year to add to my water pik and I'll continue to use them going forward.

This was my first purchase after this product was recommended by my dentist. I was excited to be able to purchase two bottles however, one of the bottles was really light so I opened it and discovered it was only 1/4 full which is disappointing. As for liking the product, I am pleased with the results so far.
