Works like a charm. Placed at the outlet tube from my distillers condenser for a much cleaner product. Uses standard 3/8in. size tubing. Simply soak the charcoal filter element in water until all air bubbles have stopped and any carbon dust washed away. No charcoal mess or taste. One filter is good for one run, or about 5gal. Well worth the money to anyone who seeks a better product. I tried cleaning the first filter that I used for reuse purposes but could not get the previous flavors out.

These work pretty good, they are kind of a pain to get setup to run through, but other than that they filter good, and are a great thing to have around.

It might do a good job filtering but I'll never know. The amount of force it takes to tighten the bottom cap is just slightly less than the force it takes to break the spindle. I broke the spindle on the first use. Now I need to try and find a filter housing that uses the cartridges because I bought a bunch of those too.

I was hoping to have more capacity

I’d have to say that the EZ inline filter is a value for the money. I was skeptical about how well it would work, but I was pleasantly surprised. Before, in order to get rid of the off smells and tastes, I distilled a second time. I don’t know if “sheerness” is the word I’d use; I’d rather say it leaves a very clean spirit in very little time.

It works ! Just like you want it to work !

I have no question about the quality of this inline filter. I am yet to use it however because the Zero Water filter works better.
