Great Investment over regular cable ties
These are great. We use them to hold 6'x2' metal grids together that we then hang hundreds of pounds of yarn on. We were going through regular cable ties by the bucket as we break down and set up somewhere else almost every weekend, and sometimes at shops during the week in between. We first ordered these in Nov 2015. It is now March 2017 and I am back to order more as enough of the heads have broken, or we've lost enough, that we've gone through 100 of them in a year and a half, instead of going through 100 regular cable ties in a month.

6" ties are wider than shown in product packaging photo
The photo shows 3.6 x 150 mm dimensions for the 6-inch ties but they are actually wider, about 7 mm. So they didn't fit the adhesive mounting anchors that I purchased at the same time. Amazon was kind enough to refund of course. Otherwise they seem to be of nice quality. The release mechanism works just fine for me, just like any other releasable zip tie I've ever seen. Just a little irked that the product photo does not match the product.

Heavy-duty but release tab is often difficult for me.
These have a wider band and are more heavy duty than I actually needed. I like reusable zip ties for wire, string, cables, corded tools or things I move around a lot. Pushing the tab under the head will release the tie, and I've never had one fail to hold, but these are harder to release than any I've had.At 6" overall length they'll hold several cords together, but would be too short for many other applications.width of head 1/2"width of band 5/16"UPDATE: I've got to lower my rating a bit due to the release mechanism often just being too difficult. It's fine testing it out on a table, but 'in the field' where they need to be released quickly and easily it can be frustrating. Often I will end up just cutting, it's not worth struggling with, but it defeats the purpose.

Heavy duty and easy to use
Heavy built and solid - the release mechanism works fine and who doesn't love a reusable industrial zip tie - so far they work great and I have used them in a number of applications. These are pretty stiff due to the weight capacity.great for zipping up a bundle of welding rods and mounting them, as you use the rods and it loosens up a bit, you pull it tight and keep going. When it's time to replenish you loosen it up and refill. These are heavy duty and will definitely last a long time of re-useNote that They are a 50 lb weight cap so they are pretty stiffI drilled a few into the wall of my garage and use them to strap the oars for my John boat to the wallEndless possibilities

Seem well made - Suited to heavier jobs - Low price - Hopefully they are durable
I've always wanted releasable/reusable cable ties and so far, so good with these 12-inch Monoprice Releasable Cable Ties. These ties are big, wide and long, with a solid lock that releases easily -- though at "50 lbs" they aren't for real heavy loads. They'll be useful for corralling big coils of cord, hose, rope and a million other things. As I understand, the shorter Monoprice ties, down to 6-inch, are the same, only shorter...so I bought the longest available and will cut them down if necessary. These ties are too big for most runs of cord and wire in a house. I'll get some of the much smaller releasable cable ties, down to 4-inch, for smaller jobs.I'm concerned by the many reviews claiming these cable ties break almost on their own. Mine seem tough and durable enough but time will tell if the ties break readily or the locks slip. I'm not sure if these ties are treated effectively for UV so they probably shouldn't be left in the sun...the sun eventually makes untreated ties snap like dry twigs.

Works, but short and difficult to release
It's neat that these are reusable, but they're very short. 6" zip ties will only fit around things that are maybe 1" in diameter. I took to connecting two, sometimes three, together so I could fit them around what I needed to. It works, but there's a lot of ends sticking out as a result, which looks tacky. The other disappointment I had was how hard they are to release. You have to push the release lever toward the end of the tie, and that usually means toward the object you've tied it around. I have to push hard enough, the small plastic piece that is the release presses really hard into my finger and it kind of hurts. When I want to release mine, I usually break out the needle nose pliers so I can spare my fingers. It's also much easier and faster to get that release to trigger with a pair of pliers than with my fingers.Would I buy them again? I would definitely buy reusable zip ties again, even if the mechanism was as much trouble and pain for me to release. But, I would seek out longer ones.

Very strong, reusable, zip ties!
I was doing a lot of wire routing and tucking building a car and I wanted something other then the usual zip-ties that you inevitably have to cut at some point down the line when you need to pull a wire out or run another one. These worked amazingly well! I've used them to secure small electrical boxes up and things like that as well, holds perfectly. They are very easy to release the lock - the reviewer that said he spent 10minutes trying to undo one of them - might want to see a doctor. I have mild arthritis and had no problems with them; even when I had tightened them down to the furthest notch using pliers - they still release easily enough.I now use them for other various tasks like securing tarps and equipment when I'm backpacking, mounting equipment on server racks, suspending items from wire shelving, etc etc. Very versatile, and for once I don't need to stock 1000x single use zipties, and spend time trying to get at them with clips or a knife whenever I want to change something. I would definitely say they hold over 50lbs no problem as well. I'll probably pick up some smaller (shorter) ones from the same manufacturer for smaller jobs/less inconspicuous installs.

Brittle
Might have had a bad batch. The ties were very brittle and when bent or pulled to tighten, they snapped. Unusable. Returned for a no quibble refund.

Strong Releasable ZIP Tie for hanging House Flags
I purchased 100 of the 12 inch length releasable zip ties to hang my large 28 by 40 inch house flags on a 35 inch wide wooden banner pole on two hook screws (I could not find eye screws of the size I needed) anchored into the masonry between the bricks on my house. The releasable zip ties work perfectly for that use, although I have to cut off quite a bit (about 8 inches) which would otherwise stick out and look ridiculous. I bought the 12 inch rather than 6 inch version because I thought they might be thicker and therefore more durable, and the price was about the same. They allow me to take the wooden pole off the hooks to change flags to suit the season or occasion. I have 98 of them left for other purposes. Hahaha.

What are you, some kind of stupid?
If you work with cables (sorry if you don't because coiling cables is the dopest), and you haven't already ordered this, you are messing up hard.I guess if you don't work with cables, but just like capturing people and holding them hostage, but also stand behind the principles of catch n' release then these would probably also be a great buy for you. Let me summarize all of the many features and benefits of this wonderful product below:It's a zip tie.But with a release button.P.S. If you are the latter of the two then I suggest going with the 12 inch length, binding hands together with a six inch tie is harder than chinese algebra.P.P.S. If you are a person who enjoys tying cables with cable ties, then I also suggest picking up the little cable tie sticky block thingies mono price makes. They're an adhesive back thing that essentially acts as a mounting point for these so you can clip things to them with these cable ties. Real freakin neato.
