Works very well and looks good
I have to say this is so cool. I'm so happy I got this. I think it's fun. Now I can see inside and out side weather and even shows what the moon will look like each day, displays time of day and all the colors on it is really nice. Even displays the date. I do wish the light would stay lit without having to push the button for it. It doesnt need plugged in, I am using batteries so I can move it any where I want. This would make for a great gift. So I may have to buy a few more. I love cool findings like this.

Nice little weather setup
Nice compact weather station. Whats really cool about this one is that it's wireless. The old stations needs a wire attached which was a pain to run. Really easy setup, put the batteries in and your all set. The main base can be used on both batteries or with a plug. I think it's pretty cool that they have the battery option so if you want to take it camping or put it in the backyard you don't have to worry about finding a plug. Great value for the price

Lasted one month and died
I bought this Elegiant Wireless Weather Station after a three year old AcuRite weather station stopped working. I considered the Elegiant station to be an upgrade because it also displayed humidity. But there were negatives from the beginning that I should have acted upon. First, the LCD color screen is nice...IF you are standing right in front of it. However, because the base unit leans back slightly, if you try to look at the screen from even a short distance, the screen is unreadable. My wife hated it, but at that time I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it. I figured that we'd just get used to getting real close to the base unit in order to read it...I should have listened to her. Then, after two weeks, the Station stopped displaying the outside temp and humidity. You can see from the first pic that the base unit only displayed dashes. I tested the batteries that are in the remote unit that is kept outside. The batteries were fine, so I reset the channel that the remote uses to communicate with the base unit. After three resets, the unit started working again until several days later when it didn't again and only displayed the same dashes. I didn't bother to check the batteries or perform any reset and later in the day, the unit began to work again. But, for the next couple of weeks, throughout the day, the base unit would often display the dashes for the outside weather data and then, at some point, it would start working again. Then six days past the return date, the base unit indicated that the outside temp was 138.7 degrees and then two days later it stopped working altogether. Now, the remote unit that we placed outside is completely sheltered and in the same place as I put the AcuRite remote unit that lasted three years. So, the location of the remote wasn't the problem.Sadly, I am stuck. I paid for a piece of junk that I can't return and I would advise anyone thinking about purchasing this unit to look elsewhere. I honestly don't have anything good to say about this weather station.

Convenient digital weather station
Having a two story house it's always colder downstairs than upstairs. I use this weather station to be able to tell what's the true temperature inside master bedroom and also to quickly be able to tell the temperature outside without looking at my phone.

Disappointed
While this is easy to read, once it is lit up; it is a pain. You have to hit the display button each time and if hanging on the wall have to move it to actually see what is displayed. It shows rain chance when there is none. I live in STx and this time a year we do not have rain. Over all, just very disappointed in the fact it is not convenient since you have to have hands on to operate, and cannot view temps, etc.. at a glance.

EATS BATTERIES...OUTSIDE READING ONLY WORKS FOR A FEW DAYS
Very DISAPPOINTED. EATS BATTERIES....CHANGING EVERY WEEK OR SOONER. Outside reading only lasts for like a few days then needs new BATTERIES!! Inside is easy to read...was really hoping it was going to work. It was a present for my husband for his birthday. Definitely going to send back.

Worked for nearly 1 week, outdoor sensor died
I really loved this unit, until it stopped working just days after setting it up. The outdoor sensor, regardless of having it on the correct channel on both units, only displays lines where it should show the outdoor conditions. At first I thought it was maybe the battery, having used a rechargeable battery that perhaps wasn't ideal for use outdoors. So I went out and bought lithium batteries especially for the sensor. It still won't work, there are just lines showing where the temperature and humidity should be.I live in coastal California. It's not dealing with extreme temperatures or weather. The high around here is usually below 73 and the low lately doesn't drop below 60 degrees F. I'm not asking much of the unit but to just function.I'm so disappointed. Look elsewhere if you want to avoid buying a total lemon.

Adequate.
First off, this thing is not color. The color is simply the underlay that the monochrome LCD appears over top of. It looks nice, though, especially when the backlight is on.Pairing the external temp sender is problematic. I spent two hours off and on last night getting it to pair. It wasn't until I switched the channel on the external sender to "3" (settings are 1,2,3) that it found it and started working. For the price, it's decent.
