DPDT On-Off-On Rated at 30A @ 12VDC, 18A @ 125VAC, 10A @ 250VAC. Panel Cutout: .82" x 1.44" Waterproof to IP66 UL,CSA & CE Approved Review: High Quality - The switch arrived quickly, packed securely. Just what I had expected when I ordered it. It seems to be very sturdy; the action feels durable. Just to respond to the comments in some other reviews: I didn't have any trouble wiring this switch. It's a DPDT switch, so, you know, the function of 6 of the pins is obvious. When you remember that it has 2 LEDs, the function of the other 4 pins become obvious too. The switch came with brief instructions and a simple diagram; Both were helpful. But, this switch gets wired like any DPDT switch I guess. I installed this in my truck for foglights. I found some other switches at auto parts stores, but they were low quality compared to this one. This one feels like quality, and it's rated as waterproof. Review: Great solid 3 way switch. - Solid switch. I use this switch daily and hasn't let me down. Never used the LED lights on switch so cant comment on that but is nice that the lights are there.

A good switch, a few things to know..
I installed it into an existing panel cut-out on my Hustler Fastrack zero turn to extend/retract a linear actuator on a granular fertilizer spreader, and to turn on/off the pump on my liquid sprayer, so the switch needed to stay "on" (not momentary). For the actuator I used the internal limit switch for full extension and added an external limit switch to the flow rate adjustment (handle contacts limit switch to stop it in the selected spot) First thing to know, in all of these switches the active poles are opposite of the switch position, its like a little teetertoter inside. For my polarity reversing application I connected 4 wires to the input ground, 2 wires to the positive input and attached to the switch as follows - starting on the left poles (silver, not copper), Positive and Negative on the left poles, then crisscross (X) your jumper wires over to the right side poles (thats where the polarity reverse happens), connect your motor to the center poles. Connect the remaining two extra ground wires to each of the light's poles (copper), power up the switch with a 9v or similar battery... first make sure you're sending power out to the motor in the polarity you want based on the switch position, if you dont like it then reverse the center wires.. then, finally, attach a wire to each of the remaining light poles; flip the switch on and find positive (+) on one of the two center poles (to the motor) - thats where the light + gets connected, the light for the other switch position gets connected to the other pole, which will become + with the switch in the other position.

works, but voltage drop through switch, lites not correct
So I got this to switch between 2 power sources, 12vdc power supply and 12vdc lithium iron battery. When hooked up per their instructions, lite circuit feeds back to opposite circuit. So I just disconnected them. Ughh. Anyway so switch does handle 30amps 12-15 vdc, however, there is a voltage drop across the switch. When battery is at say 12.9 vdc under load, the switch voltage is 12.1 vdc. (I have a gauge on switch) I also verified the voltage drop is there, not anywhere else, and bypassing switch eliminates drop. So while I am using 2 of these, they will be replaced

Bought for veggie oil conversion fuel pump selector switch; it won't work for that application
What a pain! The directions are not at all funny, but to call them anything but a joke would be just wrong. They give NO help at all in deciding what leads to put where. All the instructions do is say to put jumper wires on certain terminals to make the lights of the switch to come on with which side of the switch is selected. However, there are no instructions to turn a load off or on, let alone turn off one and turn on the another. I bought this switch to select between two different fuel pumps on a veggie oil conversion of my diesel pickup, but after 30 minutes with a multimeter and test light, I gave up trying to figure it out. I bought a 3-way toggle switch and use it instead. An illuminated 3-way switch would have been nice, but actual instructions are important. This is garbage.

Very nice switch..
Perfect replacement for a single through accessory switch on my boat. Now I can turn on two lights while only taking up one switch bank on the dash.

Great product, absolutely horrible instructions
Great product, absolutely horrible instructions. I have added the instructions I have made to make it easier and not too much reading.
