I have used this tool quite a lot. It works well and has a much more powerful battery than similar ones.

I'm a big fan of EGO devices and have several other items for the garden, an inverter etc. Naturally, when I wanted a more compact hedge-trimmer, I was going to look at this EGO implement.It's a pretty decent item to be fair. A shame it has its own battery, compared to other EGO devices, but that's hardly surprising, given the compact size of this unit, of course.Have used it a few times now, and find the hedgetrimmer attachment a more capable blade unit than the grass shears, but I do want to use both more often before forming a definitive view.However, of most disappointment were the two flimsy plastic covers for the blades, which are a very tight fit and will doubtless not last that long before splitting along the seams. A shame really, compared to the robust blade covers on other EGO cutting devices.Look forward to using unit more when the good, old British weather improves!

A dislocated shoulder wasn't going to deter my husband from doing some essential hedge cutting, but his electric shears just weren't manageable one-handed. After some careful research, these seemed to come up well. They work really well and are able to handle surprisingly robust bits of hedge. And you don't need two hands!

See above.I gave a single star for easy to use because I use other ego products.Sorry. Expected better.

Delivery was incredibly quick - 2 weeks earlier than proposed. Great cutting tool working well on huge variety of bushes.

Just did a 10 minute test on new growth on a tree. Seemed to have plenty of power, quite pleased with it. Just one criticism. The instructions were 95% warnings and 5% instructions. But that seems to be norm now.

Works well but limited to trimming rather than cutting. Neatening up shrubs and grass edges is fine but don’t expect to be able to cut hedges or large lawn edges.
