A small battery capacity is apparently no reason to make a physically small battery. These things are much bigger in footprint that the larger capacity CP5 and 8. The battery keeps me from getting the tool in tight spaces. At least my tools don't tip over when I set them down on this clownfoot.

We like these since they are lighter than the 5.0 or 6.0 batteries. Bear in mind that these are a little longer than the 5.0, so the front of the battery sticks out a little farther on the tool than a 5.0.

I really like this size battery for use on drills and nail guns. On nail guns, that are already heavy, it is nice to have this smaller battery that has enough power and capacity to finish most jobs.
