Q: I see dimensions for the width and height of motor. but how thick is the motor ?

It's about 1/2" thick. When you place the hands on the motor, align both of them on the 12 when putting them on the shafts. Then you can adjust the time using the dial on the back of the motor. NEVER try to adjust the time of the clock using the hands. That will break the motor. I liked the choice of different hands. You can pick the hands that you think best fit the size/style of the clock face.

Q: Is the shaft adjustable? I need 3/4" extending from the mechanism. Not including the part inside the mechanism.

I checked mine, I have 1/2" protruding after the mechanism is mounted inside my frame.

Q: is 9\16 inch unit available if so how do i order?

First put your measurements in your search. These kits come in many different sizes. If you’re looking for a single hand, then state that in your search. Such as : hour hand 16”.
