Great for beginners!
If you're a beginner, this is the mouthpiece for you. I have the Vandoren TL3 Optimum (which came with my tenor sax) and was having trouble hitting the low C and Bb. Once I tried this mouthpiece my troubles were over. It is pretty free-blowing and sounds mellow. I highly recommend!

Great mouthpiece for the serious musician!
We love the Yamaha 4C mouthpieces!IMO - not recommended for the beginner.However, when ready to move on to a better sound and more flexibility - the 4C is great! I bought them for my sons' Alto Saxophone, Tenor and Bari! We also purchase one for the Clarinet!
