Great help to read
Love leap frog. Has a great battery life and the functionality for my kid to use by herself. This is great for kids 4 to older, since it’s so easy to use.

Love this product
My daughter loves this product and she has so much fun doing it on her own! It's very great for independent playtime, but I enjoy reading along with her and learning new Spanish words. Amazing product

With out the base you wouldn't b able to use books..enjoyable for my grand child.

Make sure it’s compatible for your computer
Make sure you have the right computer to use this. You need to download a program and you can only input so many books at once. Sad I bought a ton of books and we could only put a handful on the thing. Plus, I had to use my mom’s computer at a different house. Difficult for adults to setup. Perfect for my 4-5 year old. He uses it daily. Works great and the battery lasts forever. He definitely gets sucked into learning on it!

Highly recommended
Two year old loves it. Very fun way of letting your little ones play and learn at the same time. Even tho it was meant for a prek child they seem to fight for it

Entertaining yet educational
We purchased this as a birthday gift for our granddaughter’s 3rd birthday. Understand that this little gal is in constant motion yet, she instantly took it to the sofa and played. I am a firm believer that learning should be fun and this certainly meets that criteria! We also purchased a toddler back pack, head phones and case for her books and accessories. It all went together beautifully! I would add that it was played with on a recent long road trip. Whether used at home or for travel, this little device gets 5 stars from me!

Leapfrog Customer Support is the worst
Bought this off Amazon as a 4th birthday gift. It worked for less than a week. Amazon instructed to contact Leapfrog for troubleshooting first. Leapfrog gave me instructions that didn’t even apply to the device I had. When I explained the buttons were different they said the Leapstart 3D wasn’t in their inventory and they could offer another item. What they offered was $24 and I spent $65 on this item…. Went back to Amazon and they issued a full return once they heard Leapfrog wasn’t helpful. Super disappointed in Leapfrog customer support

Product arrived opened covered in postal stickers instead of proper packaging. Given this was an expensive electronic item, more care should have been taken. Returned for refund as box looked like it had been kicked around the delivery van.
