The Mammoth Book of Madonna

A must for Madonna fans. Beautiful pics. Great info. Does not go in depth of course but it's a great coffee table book. Madonna fans will love this.

This Is One of the Best Biographies of Madonna This collection of pictures of Madonna and her family starts with a picture of Madonna as a toddler and ends with a photo taken in March 2014. The biography of Madonna photos covers 30 years. Perhaps my favorite image in the book is on page 113. It’s a publicity still for the movie “Dick Tracy.” The picture is Madonna, who played Breathless Mahoney, snuggling up behind “Big Boy Caprice” as they danced. Al Pacino played the Big Boy character and was huge in his padded costume. Madonna looked like Marilyn Monroe in the light-hearted photo. This reviewer’s second and third favorite photos were revealing photos of Madonna wearing her designer friend Jean Paul Gaultier’s “cone bra.” The book’s author Michelle Morgan had only attended six Madonna concerts and never met her, but she was a super fan almost from first seeing Madonna on television. She had turned her desire to be a writer into a successful career. Hopefully, she will have actually met her idol by this time.

As a woman who has enjoyed music by Madonna since around the early 90’s, this book The Mammoth Book of Madonna contained an abundance of details around Madonna’s life. Some of the exciting details shared around Madonna’s life; Madonna’s True Blue album and the love of her life who inspired it (page 68), Information and a picture of Madonna with Paul McCartney as it pertained to the 1999 MTV Awards when she received an award for her Beautiful Stranger song for the film Austin Powers;The Spy Who Shagged Me (pages 224-225), A July 2007 Live Earth concert picture film of Madonna and the mention of the Hey You song written by Pharrell Williams (page 348), and of course much more photos and details pertaining to Madonna’s life and her career.

Despite the one negative review on here I'm really enjoying the book. It is stunning literature? No. But it's not meant to be. It's also not a trashy "tell all." It's a beautiful compilation of photos over the course of Madonna's life and career. And, I did find out a few things about The Queen that I never knew. Enjoy this book on its merits; which is beautiful images thoughtfully laid out to document a life and a career.

LOVE THIS BOOK!!! I've been a Madonna fan since she first came out; and I have to say this book is a MUST HAVE!! It begins with her childhood and ends in early 2014. The book is easy to read; Writing on one page and a corresponding photo on the other. Most of these photo's I've never seen before (and I thought I seen them all). Overall, the book gives wonderful and unique insights on Madonna as a person, performer, artist, mother, daughter, lover, and wife. It shows the highs and lows of her career and personal life. I must say, this book is truly amazing. The author really did her homework when researching about this amazing woman. It's definitely a collector's item for any Madonna Fan!

Excellent book with lots of rare pictures. My sister loved all the pictures it comes with for a very good price. A must have for all Madonna freak's 🤗

I love the pictures inside this book! If you are a fan of Madonna and want something to keep as a collectible picture book then this is a good book!

I purchased this for my Madonna collection it got here quickly but the back cover was scratched up.
