My previous charger cable was in a horrific state where the insulation was teared and the inner wire exposed, which was a safety hazard. After purchasing this cable, thanks to the threaded insulation, I have full confidence that these two cables will withstand the test of time and wear far better. I must point out that the value for money is brilliant, you get x2 very lovely 2metre cables as advertised and the feel of them to me seems premium, of great quality and care. Charging very much better than that of my old cable which would send a notification that I had a weak charging source, these cables more than exceed charging speeds. They may not be the fastest you will get, but definitely no where near too slow for your device, as long as you take care of the battery of your device, you will be peachy. Absolute steal with that value for money, most cables I see with these specifications range anywhere from 10 to 15 pounds, and that's for 1 cable, you get 2 for 5 pounds! They are easily the length of a single bed.

Edit. My opinion of this cable is no different but customer service are very on the ball. Obviously read this review a d have been on at me ever since to let them help and provide new cables or refund. So credit where credit is due but I have since just paid out for a genuine one for my own peace of mind.Cables look ok on arrival but I needed to sort of wiggle the plug at the charger end for it finally to say fast charging -after a few seconds. When I plug the original cable in it instantly goes to turbo charge, no wiggling required so definitely not like for like and now I've seen some of the other reviews which I didn't before, I'm not confident using these and leaving them unattended so will be either binning or returning I thinkFirst picture is instant on plug in with original cable. Second on plug in with these and third after a wiggle and a few seconds.

They seem fine for short-term use, they come in a pack of two as well which is great. I needed a quick replacement cable for my phone as Samsung for some reason sent me a Type C cable that wasn't compatible with any other device I own (both ends were Type C), so I literally couldn't charge my phone. I ended up settling for a USB adaptor instead so I could use the original cable, as something about these wires makes me uncomfortable.As some of the other reviews mention, there's a fair bit of false advertising going on. They're advertised as being 2m, they are definitely shorter than that by a large margin.They're also advertised as fast charging. They most definitely are not and my phone even told me so when I first plugged in the cable.They look like they should be robust but they don't feel very strong. I've only had them for a few days and I can see signs of wear already.The thing that makes me the most uneasy though is how the Type C end fits in the phone's port - it's very tight, beyond the point of being snug or comfortable. I know that a tighter Type C plug is okay, if not favourable, but this feels TOO tight. Whenever I unplugged my phone from it, I had to put so much work into it that I began to worry it would damage the phone's port somewhere down the line. This was when I made the decision to cut my losses and stop using them.The reason I give these cables three stars rather than one or two is because nothing bad has actually happened to them, or because of them, at the time of writing. I'm just not willing to let it get to that point. I'll keep them as spares or maybe use them for data transfer once a year. But, I definitely don't recommend these for long-term charging, or much of anything actually. Maybe a short-term solution while you wait to get a different cable, but otherwise I'd stay clear altogether.

Bought these cables from Younits for a Samsung phone. They are really nice quality and a great fit for the phone. Nice soft braiding covering the cable, they feel like they should last a long time. Great service, good comms, good price and fast delivery. Would highly recommend these cables and this seller (Younits)

The cables are great, they are good quality and charge my phone very well, they also seem robust and I love having such a long cable as it makes using your phone whilst charging much easier.The delivery time was quick and the cables were dispatched on time.

Requested a refund this morning as this almost caused a house fire last night. It was so hot it melted the plastic, burnt my finger and thumb disconnecting it. Had it not been on a hard surface it would certainly have ignited. I have informed the seller. Serious safety concerns.

Bought these for my new phone (with it's new connection). Really pleased that they come in bright colour (red), so that I can pick up the correct one. Very sturdy cord round the cable, which looks like it will be long lasting. Only bugbear isn't particularly for these cables, just wish that all had the same fitting as I have separate ones for Mac, iPad, camera, old phones, new phone, etc. The house is awash with cables!

I bought it to replace my phone's original charging cable which has now got cracks in both ends which really isn't good. Glad to say my new one works well, only the second time I used it, it took ages to recharge my phone for some reasons but It's now charging my phone more quicker. Having a pack of 2 would be good use in case the 1 I'm using all of a sudden breaks and need a new one, I will have the second 1 already to be used and no need to go and purchase a new cable.
