I took a chance on these and I’m glad I did. My son’s OT wanted us to do activities on a vertical plane to help strengthen his upper arms. He’s obsessed with Legos so I thought this would encourage him to do that independently, and I was right! The magnets are surprisingly strong - to the extent that the only con I have for this product is that it’s sometimes hard to place the plate exactly where you want it since the magnet is so strong. If you want to use more than one together, Definitely use the trick of attching them with bricks to line them up correctly before placing them on the magnetic surface.I’ve never bought any off-brand Lego products because I’ve been worried about quality, but I think these work just as well as Lego baseplates. My five year old loves making vertical ball runs with all four plates, my three year old loves spelling her name with duplos, and my one year old just loves sticking duplos onto them and taking them off again. It’s surprising how much changing the play surface to vertical inspires creativity. We use them on an IKEA cabinet, and I’m trying to keep myself from buying more to create an even bigger play surface.Some black dust did show up on the white cabinet when they were brand new, so you might think about wiping down the magnetic side before first use. I use multiples of these to create a Lego wall on a magnetic whiteboard in my school's makerspace. They adhere SO well and no kid has pulled off a board when removing a Lego. These are one of the best purchases I have made and my students LOVE our Lego wall!

We used these on a magnetic whiteboard to build LEGO murals. Worked great!!!!

One corner one a plate is bent/smashed, so can’t use the perimeter. But all other plates are exactly as described & as expected. Great for playing on the fridge!

I like this product.I bought it for my 19 month old grandson who loves duplo and Legos.I was disappointed at the difficulty I had using duplos on this plate. Will love it when he gets older

As a teacher, I bought these to use in my classroom. They stick to my whiteboard perfectly, and quite strongly. I've used them as an interactive scoreboard for games I play with my students, but I can see using them for a variety of things, and I am starting to imagine the coolness of having a huge surface to make pixel art on.Legos stick to them firmly, and the construction is high quality...no worries about pieces falling off, or the boards not sticking to surfaces. I went with the magnets, but I know you can also get them with adhesive on the back.

I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. I was pleasantly surprised by the weight and construction of these pieces, very solid but also slightly flexible, so I have no concerns about them tearing. My 2.5 year old went to work immediately and had no trouble building with his Lego Duplos. I would recommend the larger surface area of the 4-pack if your child uses Duplos, otherwise I think they would quickly run out of room. These were also extremely easy to align side by side, and I had no issues attaching blocks across the seams.

My kiddo loves the building brick base plates. We keep ours on the fridge at his eye level and it has provided endless entertainment. While he is still a bit too young to play with building blocks unsupervised (2yo) I know this will be the kind of toy that grows with our family for years. We LOVE products like this that encourage imaginative play and problem solving skills! The quality is wonderful and the magnetic feature is nice because I don't have to attach anything permanently.
