Lots of work but totally worth it!
Allow a weekend to complete this project, so tempers won't flare! Items needed to install: Credit Card (something with blunt edge to scrap and seal), scissors, and an extra roll of contact paper (not necessary). The supplier only gives contact paper for the large tree pieces. I believe the birds, leaves, and small branches are literally to be applied like a sticker (I put mine on the extra roll of Contact paper so I didn't leave finger prints and possibly reduce stickiness). The kit comes with instructions, but has a lot of grammatical errors so can be difficult to follow. Here's how we did it. We cut out all the pieces from the sticker paper to make it easier to apply to the contact/transfer paper. Once on the contact/transfer paper we cut out again so you have the individual pieces. Give yourself a LOT of clean working space. You will want to lay everything out to see where things fit. The trees and branches are not next to each on the sticker paper, so you have to lay them out. Once you get them all pieced together its time to take it to the wall. This is a 2 man job. One person will want to peel the contact paper as the other person uses the credit card to keep the sticker applied to the wall. Peel slowly!!! The trees we got were pretty close to the picture online, but a few branches took slightly different turns. No big deal, still looks amazing on the wall. We got pink birds, and the color is true to the internet color swab. Overall, GREAT product. Once you get it on the wall you will want to look over everything because some of the holes in the trees wont peel off, just use tweezers and pull it off the wall. Since I'm OCD and wanted to make sure everything was stuck flat, I took a wallpaper roller (looks like a paint roller but flat foam roller instead of cloth) and went over all the decals. Those babies aren't going anywhere. My husband and I tackled this project over a wknd. Took 2 hours for cutting and prep work on Saturday, then 2 hours applying it on Sunday. No major meltdowns, very surprised. Product does come from overseas so beware of shipping time!!!

Missing Decals
I purchased this item July 2017 and am just now putting this up! Basically our adult son moved back in for a few years and he just moved back out. I had i ordered this item but had taken a couple MONTHS to receive it. I had contacted the seller to insure I was getting the turquoise birds. They assured me they would and them. I had no reason to open the package since my son moved back before they were delivered. Not only did I receive brown birds, one half a tree short plus, a few limbs. I made it work but, I did not get what I paid for.On the plus side, they are easy to peel off and replace if necessary, I was able to figure out the directions pretty easily. It would have been nice if the large part of section 4 was separated and not so large that part tore a bit. Some of the stickers are starting to curl off the wall and it hasn’t even been on 30 minutes... they are not pieces that had to be reapplied.

Don't waste your time or money
I was so excited to receive this and couldn't wait to put it up in my daughter's nursery. However, after weeks of trying to make it work I finally threw it out and bought a similar (but much higher quality one) through Etsy. I have successfully applied several large wall decals before, so I have experience with them being easy and creating a great finished product. Here were my problems with this one, and why you should definitely go elsewhere:1. The trees come in multiple pieces (each trunk is 2, and all branches are individual pieces) with no markings or guide to indicate which pieces go with what. It took me about 2 hours just to identify what parts go together.2. The transfer paper is not already applied to the stickers, and there is not enough provided to use for the entire decal. It says you can reuse it, but since you have to cut it out in the shape of the piece you are applying this would be nearly impossible. I wasted another week waiting for additional transfer paper that I had to purchase. Application took another 2-3 hours.3. As others have mentioned, decal is too short for standard height walls. I had planned for this by applying the decal from the celling down, so that the gap would be at the bottom. Not a huge deal, but not perfect.4. The next two issues (4 and 5) were the real killers. The transfer paper provided is too sticky and since the decal is so thin and cheap it would stretch and rip the decal, all while leaving it stuck to the paper and not to the wall.6. The decal is not sticky enough to stay attached to even a very smooth wall. I applied several different types of test decals to this wall to make sure that the paint and surface would work for a decal, and everything except this decal stuck beautifully. After spending yet another 3 hours and only getting 2 tree trunks on the wall (starting to peel already) I finally gave up. Don't waste your time or money on this one.

Finished product was gorgeous, but the process was way too hard.
The final product was gorgeous, but I was not happy with the instructions. Numbering the actual decals would have been very helpful. It was cumbersome to have to match them up when the instructions only numbered the sheets, and didn't actually print the numbers on there, so we spent some time trying to match up the picture to the decals. I was also unhappy with the transfer paper. It caused bubbles and it didn't want to let go of the decals. I eventually decided to just stick the decals to the wall without it. I was particularly irritated with the decal that had two trees in one. It was such a pain to line up with the bottom part. I ended up cutting it and overlapping. You may notice that we changed the order of the trees on our wall. That was to avoid the electrical outlet.
