Like them more than the smaller size
These hold up better than the skinnier ones. They do a good job of making the tap water taste better.

Does the work - no plastic required!
I looked for a way to filter water without plastic filters, I found these and I'm very happy with the results. The water's smell and taste are much better.

Arrived smelling like chemicals
Smelled like cleaning product and made my water taste like a cleaning product. Contaminated charcoal! Also this product is a complete rip-off. Search for Binchotan charcoal for yaki (grilled food) to buy pounds of this stuff for cheaper than 4 measly sticks.

Love these. Have been using for about 6-7 yrs. Work great. We use to have well water and they removed the smell.
