Love mine so much I got more to gift
Easy to use, easy to find in a drawer, sharp, and takes a thin peel.

Bought this because my black OXO was impossible to find in the drawer!
I have a black OXO peeler that works great but that I can never find in the drawer because of its color. I went through a phase a few years ago where I really liked novelty kitchen utensils, and had this saved to a list from then. As I was cleaning up and updating my lists, I saw it and it's bright color and realized this would end my constant before-work rush to find the peeler as I prepared some food to take with me to work. I ordered it and was really happily surprised with the quality of it. It peels really nicely and is actually very comfortable to hold. I just pop him in the washer and toss him in the drawer, and he always stands out when it's time to peel before work! I really like this peeler more than I expected to-- it peels every bit as well as my OXO peeler, but is so much easier to locate.

It peels but it's a bit meh
So my girlfriend told me to get this peeler because it was cute. I figured hey, it's a Y peeler, it's pretty fun looking, looks ergonomic enough, what could go wrong? Well the order was placed, tracking page refreshed in accordingly frequent intervals and the awaited package arrived. Pulling out the peeler, hey it's pretty comfy to hold, not bad! Too bad I didn't have anything to test it with immediately. Fast forward a couple of days and behold, I have some potatoes I need peeled. Well good a time as any to pull out the monkey peeler. Here I discovered something, for smaller potatoes this thing was wonderful, skin came right off, it was comfortable to hold, yadda yadda yadda. Then I got to a giant steroid filled ameripotatoe, the thing was huge! It was wider than the peeler on one of the flat sides and here I discovered a fatal flow of the peeler. The monkey's hands which hold the peeler blade prevent the peeler blade from actually making contact with the potato. Another instance where I tried to peel an acorn squash (I know the skin is somewhat stiff) I ran into the same problem, and finally I hit a final roadblock where something I was trying to peel (I forgot what) pulled the peeler blade out. Luckily I just snapped the blade back in and went back to working as normal. So overall it's a pretty good peeler but it has problems handling large potatoes and other larger things that need to be peeled.Pros:> cute> pretty comfortable grip> girlfriend likes it> peels just about anythingCons:> peeler blade isn't as secure as I would like it to be> can't peel very large itemsoverall:Good peeler and comfortable grip but don't try to use it on large things.

Review of Shark Bottle Opener
There is a lot to like about this bottle opener. First of all, it is a very good opener. The ease of use is such that you could open bottles in a jiffy even with your eyes closed. And the blade of a tail is very good for opening the lift tabs on cold wet cans without worry of breaking a nail or such. Although there are lots of good openers, this one is cool looking. I like the eyes on it, and on the opener side, it looks like teeth in the mouth and the screws look like eyes.It is also made very well, sturdy, and will last a long time. I have been using mine for about a year now. I like it so well I have given several as gifts. Everybody seems to have liked them as well.

Fun addition
Fun addition to my kitchen gadgets. Not great with dented cans though.

Cute corkscrew for a good price
This corkscrew is really easy to use, and it's cute, too. The tail of the bird covers the top of the bottle like a normal corkscrew, but there is no way to see what is going on with the bottle and the cork because the tail is a solid piece with no openings. Other cork screws I've had also had a sort of viewing space near the bottom so you could see, but I guess if there was a viewing space on this corkscrew it would ruin the look of it. Aesthetics over practicality. After I take a cork out of a bottle, I unscrew the cork off the corkscrew by holding the turning part of the corkscrew and twisting the cork. In this case, the turning part is a bird's head, and it feels awkward to keep hold of it. Otherwise it's a pretty good corkscrew, and the price was right.

Best peeeler ever
This little monkey, although a bit dearer than some is the best potato peeler ever. We've had one for 10 years and it's got a bit blunt so bought another.

Pricey but worth it
After having one of these for years, one of the kids dropped it and sadly it couldn't be fixed. We tried a few different peelers, before tracking another of these down. It may be a bit on the pricey side, but it's well worth it, as they last for years (unless you have clumsy fingered children).

Works well
Brought as a replacement for my 11 year old grandaughter who was dismayed when her previous one broke. She maintains it's definitely the best peeler and enables her to peel the veg like magic..... who am I to argue!!!
