Bought this after seeing a hands on Youtube review from the States, where I think it is a bit cheaper.Feels well made with a solid build quality and nicely put together. You have to press and and hold the switch slightly longer than you might expect to switch it on and off.All the different lighting modes cycle through OK and press and hold to switch it off.The beam is fine for a small pocket torch with a nicely rounded beam pattern. I would say the light is slightly more yellowish than pure white in tone than some I have had but it's not much and certainly shouldn't put you off getting one.The magnet on the base is very useful if you need to do something on the car or some other ferrous metal object like fixing the inside of a white good appliance.The swivelling head and clip is really useful as it allows you to fix it on a front pocket and be hands free to do something, almost as good as a head torch.All in all a great little torch, much more useful than a mini mag. Will only be using it with AA batteries so can't comment on Lithium rechargeables performance.

Torch is bright especially from such a small torch, the swivel top is a neat little design that adds functionality and overall it feels solid for its size and as a farmer who is outside day and night its a valuble tool and while my 3D cell maglight feels reassuring while out and about, however using it while carrying other stuff can be cumbersome. The nicron however takes up very little pocket space, has a handy clip and is just as bright, though obviously lacks the range due to reflector. Not sure on battery life as new one placed inside but a little advice.. Buy this with the amazon AA rechargeable batteries and you'll have a great affordable torch that will pay for itself in no time.

Works well

Cracking little edc, 3 settings low, high and strobe. The highest is 300 lumens, which is plenty when it's dark! All activated by the side soft touch button. The head rotates 45 degrees which is very handy and on the battery cap there Is a strong magnet allowing it to be attached to metallic surfaces. The body has a clip attachment as well to keep it secure in your pocket. If I was to split hairs the only negative would be that possibly the button could be easily pressed if it was in your pocket. But for the money you can't go wrong. Bought this as a gift, and now think I'll treat myself.

A brilliant little torch which has loads of features. Very bright with a good compromise between throw and flood, small size, a magnetic base, a movable head enabling you to point it where you need, plus you can run it on a lithium 14500 or any plain AA battery. Decent run time on a NiMH AA.Oh, and there are strobe and SOS functions should you need.A light, functional torch for a reasonable price - you can't go wrong with this.

I was looking for a very good flash light to focus on house numbers, as I am a delivery driver that delivers up to 11pm. I had done a lot of research and discovered this on a YouTube Chanel that does nothing but flashlight testing. They did a comparison test with a lot of expensive branded torches, and this N7 came in the top 3.I am over the moon with this BrilliantI forgot to add, this torch will run on a single AA battery which delivers 1.5 volts theirfore giving you approximately 300 lumins, which is still very bright. However, you can use a lithium 14500 rechargeable battery, which delivers 5.2 volts, this will give you the full 600 lumins. This is the option that I took, and wow, massive difference. I’m unsure if Amazon sell this type of battery? But you can get them fairly priced elsewhere. Hope this helps.

Amazing light from this little torch, especially when you use the higher voltage rechargeable batteries. Build quality was also very impressive at this price point too. I believe there’s a few rave reviews on YouTube too. Highly recommend.

The torch was purchased as an emergency light. To be effective it has to be reliable, but unfortunately IT ISN'T, as it failed to work after being used only a couple of times. It's outside the return date so I can't return it. IF you think about buying this torch use it well before the return date.
