Fantastic
Writes well, a little thicker than the Hagoromo and just as smooth. Item arrived from Japan and not a single stick was broken.

Not happy
I was excited for this item because I used chalk paint on one wall on both of my kids’ rooms and this was for them to draw on the walls with. The package arrived with the box open and almost a whole row dumped out in the envelope and broken. You would think there would be tape or a sticker holding the box closed. I am not impressed. Also this is suppose to be dustless. I was expecting some dust but this product is far from that.

Decent chalk but poor packaging
About 1/3 of the chalk sticks arrived broken; they are only separated by a thin plastic frame. Also the chalk box was loose in the box it shipped in, unsurprisingly leading to chalk dust all through the inside of both boxes. This is in contrast to Hagoromo chalk, which uses styrofoam between the sticks of chalk and packs its box carefully. The chalk itself writes well, far better than Crayola and marginally so than Prang; I prefer it over Prang mainly for its thickness (this really is the thickest quality chalk out there) and coating. Oddly, the chalk is "dustless" only after writing with it on a chalkboard--it comes off the stick with a vaguely wax-like texture, despite being only slightly less dusty than normal chalk beforehand. Overall, with better packaging, I'd give it 4/5--still not as good as Hagoromo though.
