VISCATA BARCELONA 3.25" Wedge Pump, Canvas, Slip-on, Closed Toe, Espadrilles Heel Made in Spain

These shoes pretty and well made. There are two problems, however. There are no half , which of course can make the shoe tighter or looser than normal. I am an 8.5 and I got the 40. These are a bit big. I am a 39.5 in Europe, and I know the 39 will be small. The material is a bit stiff, so there is a good possibility of getting blisters if the bigger shoe will not be snug. Also, the shoes are a bit heavy and make you quite tall. If you can get a good fit and are used to a higher heel, I think you might find these espadrilles to be a good lasting value.

I wear a 9.5 and ordered a 41 (normally I'm a 40.5 in Europen sizes) and they're a little too big so I'm going to have to exchange them. The heel is low but I wouldn't say that they're soft in the sole, they still hurt the ball of my foot more than even 4in stilettos. They also gave me crazy blisters all around my entire foot, both feet and they're not even tight. I think it's because canvas rubbing is rougher than leather. I also wish they were a little more pointed, they're too round. Look like decent quality, and they're cute but I had to return them due to how painful they are.

Beautiful shoes and true to size (I'm a true 7 so ordered the 38's) but not comfy even though you really want them to be! Not enough padding inside the shoe (hard as a rock in fact and snug in toe to make it worse). The fit is too tight to add an insole. If half sizes were an option I would just get a half size up and add an insole (the look and height would make it worth it) but they don't!!! Tried ordering a full size up (got a 39 instead of my true size 38) but the 39's were way too big. They hurt.. returning (sadly!).

LOVE these wedges!! Unbelievably comfortable right out of the box! I could and have walked in them for 6 plus hours with ZERO discomfort! Oh wait... I did just that! GREAT SHOE. I liked them so much I bought a pair in Navy with the same positive response! I didn't get so lucky ordering a pair in black. I received a pair almost like the previous but with a pointy toe instead of the rounded toe. DO NOT like the pointy toe version. So I'll be sending the black back. OVERALL one of the most comfortable and adorable pair of shoes ever. Dress them up or down.. They work so well with almost everything!

These shoes are agony. I am usually a size 8, so I ordered these in 39 and 40 to try them out. The 40s were too long and had space in the toe. The 39s were the right length but snug in my toes. The product description stated that feeling a little tight was the right fit and the shoes would stretch, so I gave them a try anyway. A couple hours later, my toes were throbbing and my heels were badly blistered. Since I’d now spent $100 on shoes I could no longer return, I tried them again for a shorter period, hoping to break them in. Again, agony. If you have wide toes, do not get these. If they feel snug when you try them on, trust your instincts not the description.

I absolutely love these shoes, extremely comfortable out of the box, well made and perfect height! HOWEVER. I wear a true size 8 and unfortunately, wearing these with pantyhose are a no-go because my foot slides to the very bottom of the shoe causing my big toe to be crushed in with debilitating pain when walking. I am hoping with more wear without stockings the shoe will break in - however the canvas is stiff (which is good because the shoe will retain its shape).Unfortunately, the shoe does not come in a half size and if it does I am certain it will be too big and definitely will be sliding if worn with pantyhose. The only other comment I have is on the color - it’s darker and not sun much of a true Nude/linen color like in the photo, or traditional espadrilles are, but is still very cute with jeans, etc, and very easy to dress up or down.

One star for how it looks. One star for comfort. I was excited about receiving my Viscata wedges today. I was disappointed to find that my pair had poor quality control. As you can see in my pictures, there are two "bald" spots on one of the shoes. It feels rubbery. I really wanted the shoes to work out but they're going back. I had higher expectations in regards to their quality control considering they're handmade in Spain. I'm torn whether or not I want to reorder again after sending these back.

Although I love this espadrille, high quality shoe, I do experience some discomfort when wearing without any hosiery. The first fit was comfortable. However, throughout the day, my feet began to swell and redden where the toe cap meets the top of the foot. Also, my heel slipped out when walking, so I used sole inserts, which could've contributed to some of the top foot swelling/discomfort . I am a solid size US 6, although this is a EUR 36 which I mostly have purchased and worn in the past, without problems. I have decided to keep this shoe but use hosiery to prevent discomfort.

Shoes looked good quality but we’re far too small. Page advertising the shoes states returns are free but this is not true as you are required to pay the cost to return them back to Spain. If the return was free I’d have simply re-ordered a larger size but was concerned even the next size up (over 1 1/2 sizes larger than my normal size) would still be too small and I would again have to pay the cost to return them to Spain. Due to risk of incurring additional return costs I bought an alternate pair from another supplier

Love the shoes - but the sizing is small so have had to send them back and re-order in a larger size.It was difficult to know what size to order as Amazon give UK choice of sizes and the shoes are made in European sizes. I take 6.5 in UK but the European 40 was far too small. Looking forward to the larger size arriving!

These are beautiful shoes but sadly way too small. Following the comments in other reviews, I ordered a size bigger but they were still too neatly fitting and sadly have had to go back. I think they best suit narrow feet and most definitely at least a size bigger than usual is needed.

Fabulous shoes but I would recommend anyone to take a size larger as they do come up small. Extremely comfortable can wear them all day long!Wonderful customer service. Highly recommend.
