This is certainly the high quality I would hope to see installed at a commercial camp site. However, I installed it on my own property for my travel trailer. I like it because it has all the outlets and breakers included for 50A, 30A, and a standard 120v/15A receptacle. It also has several other breaker spaces available. That's good because I intend to power my outdoor kitchen space with this same panel. I used to be an electrician, so I felt compelled to remove all the wires and coat the copper in deox compound. I also get some into female receptacle slots. Then I reattach the wires and torque them to spec. There's another trick I do too. I use silicon grease (usually for faucets) and I smear a little around any of the holes or cracks of the enclosure. The enclosure is raintight, but it's not bug-tight. The silicon grease seems to annoy spiders and wasps when the get against it, such that they leave it alone. It seems to be fairly effective. I'm just putting a thin layer of grease on the sheet metal, near the various holes and cracks. This has nothing to do with the wires or connections.

I bought this to replace my single dedicated 30 amp RV outlet and expand it to be able to run my welder as well. I had to replace the 50 amp outlet out so it’d work for the welder since there plug that comes installed is for a RV shore line, otherwise it was a great purchase! The overall size is a little on the large side but I like that there are additional breaker spaces for future expansion needs. One of the big reasons I went with this panel over others was the fact that it uses traditional Siemens breakers. I mounted mine to a wall and brought the feed in from the bottom using one of the knock out plugs. Now I have the option of powering an RV, running my welder and still have a 20 amp standard outlet too. I’m very happy with this panel!

I have been an electrician and later an electrical contractor since 1976. I live near Paradise CA and the Camp Fire burn zone. I am constantly installing temporary or permanent RV electrical hookups on properties of fire victims forced to live on burned lots. This product is the best value I have found for this purpose. This unit comes with a 20A 120V GFCI outlet, a 30A 120V TT30 RV outlet and a 50A 240V heavy RV outlet. It can be easily modified to add or change any outlets in a few minutes. It is compact and weatherproof / NEMA 3R. It is fast to install - which lowers the cost - there is less assembly time and a higher quality and safer job for the customer.

I used 6 gauge copper wire and daisy chained this box with another. Both are working properly with a 50amp circuit breaker at the main service panel. There is plenty of room to work inside the panel and it easily took both 6 gauge wires at all connections and I believe would handle a larger gauge if needed. Having the extra circuits available is an added plus for my wiring needs down the road. This panel serves both as an excellent RV power source and for additional circuits as needed. This panel is quality all the way around.

Good sub panel for RV’s. Should be CSA approved. Flat head screws should be banned. Very functional and easy to use.

My only issue with the box is lack of pre-punched knockouts for wall mount with rear wiring entry.
