I absolutely love this runner. The background color is more of a golden beige than ivory, but I was fine with that, figuring the darker color won't show the dirt as much. It is a good, quality runner with a rubber backing that I'm sure will last for years. I had questions with sizes so I emailed the company and they responded quickly and answered all of my questions and beyond. I installed this runner myself, it was quite easy to staple down. One tip is that I used a black permanent marker to color the staples black and then only stapled the black areas and you couldn't see the staples at all. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this runner or from this company again.

First, this is a beautiful teal runner that is properly finished and just what my wife wanted.That said, I want to relate our Kapaqua experience: I wanted custom sizes, and Kapaqua made it easy and prompt. I misread my tape measure (I thought 12 l 5 meant 12'5 inches, not 125"). They gave me 2 good options - 1 free. Been a great experience. Will order again. Thanks John of Kapaqua.p.s. This runner looks great in my hall. I had a runner that my two large dogs destroyed after about 5 years. When they ran down the hall it would fly all over the place despite buying an additional non skid backing to place under it, which was pretty much anytime they went down the hall. Now my runner stays in place and thanks to the ability to customize the width and length I was able to cover the entire length and width of my hall for less than my last runner. My last runner was 3 feet shorter in length, and and half an inch shorter in width. This rug sits very low, is thin, and it is not plush. However it seems built for heavy traffic and use, which is exactly what I needed. I like the design and so far after 2 weeks with the dogs it's holding up great. It only took a few hours for it to lay completely flat. My dogs are well past their puppy years, but if they weren't it would be pretty impossible to grab hold of the corners to chew on like they did my last runner.

Ordered Teal-Green but color is clearly greenthe rug itself is very well made and comfortable to bare feet. the color is not teal-green, its just green with beige. I sent an e-mail about it and this is the response I received: "We believe that the color to best represent the color of the rug is teal/green, that is why we have both listed in the description. There is only a touch of beige in the rug, so we only include the beige in the description and not the main title." I won't complain about it to my husband because he bought it...see attached picture!!!

I like this rug just fine. It is great to be able to customize it to the length of this 15ft 10in hallway. It is the right width. The pattern is nice. The only reasons I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because 1) it is very thin, thinner than I expected and 2) it doesn't grip quite as solidly as I would like. Its not so much a problem for me because my rug is so long that it has the length to keep it in place, but if it were shorter and not surrounded by the hallway walls, it would slide a little bit. I included pictures of both the thickness and the backing so you could see what I mean. I am still pleased with the rug and it looks nice as well as meets our needs.

This rug is a wonderful investment. It is beautiful. I have invalids here and tile floors. One had sooooooooo much trouble walking on the floor. this is absolutely what I wish I had had all the time. works fantastically!!! another one here in a wheelchair that is paralyzed on one side, propels his wheelchair backwards with one foot. He just absolutely loves it. his shoe grips on the rug and it is so very easy for him to get around. He actually went out the front door to the porch, by himself!!!!!! It is great!!! helps me so much. and of course, Puppy, has to christin it. so easy to clean up. put a rag down on her spot and it soaked right up. with rubber backing, it all came out so quickly with no stain at all. she sat there with her ears down while I told her, no more. Just wonderful. I got a 40 footer that fit perfectly from the very back of the hall to the front door. I put double sided tape only on the first three feet, as he rolled up and back, before going out the door. so now, that part will not be moved again. I love it, I love it, I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thank you so much!!!!! The color is a gentle turquioise. I will be ordering runners for all the other tile areas. being 31" wide, the wheelchairs and hoyer lift roll right down the middle. EXCELLENT!!!!

I absolutely love this runner! The quality is better than I ever expected for the price. I had looked for runners in the past and had always been turned off by the ridiculous prices. I mean, after all, I'm looking for something to walk on with dirty shoes before stepping on the carpet in our living room so not wanting to spend a couple hundred dollars on something that's going to get dirty pretty quickly. I love the fact that the ends are finished. It is thin so if you're looking for a very hearty, stiff kind of material, this is not it. I would say the only thing I wish could be improved upon is the backing being a little more "no-slip" quality as it does get moved but I just straighten it every couple of days....no big deal.

I purchased several carpet runners from Kapaqua. The runners were as described and shown on Amazon Kapaqua's customer service was excellent. I sent several emails queries and they (John) responded to them immediately. The delivery of the runners was timely. The runners were inexpensive but of good quality. I would buy from Kapaqua again.
