Regardless of previous reviews, I knew that these laces would be big in my sneakers, but I didn't mind. I simply made the adjustments I needed to. I really like them alot, my first pair of elastic laces! I definitely will recommend to friends! All the reviewers who were grumpy about the size-- too long.... blah, blah, blah-- If you read the description carefully you'll see, or at least I did, the laces come in two lengths. Making the proper selection should be some what easy, if the laces are too long, try cutting them after lacing the shoe-- leaving ample room, in case you need to retie the laces, then quickly run a lighter by the end of the lace to singe the material then put on a new aglet ( the plastic tip of a shoe lace). Viola! Shoe laces customized!!

I used these on my knee-high sherpa lined boots. They have lace-up and zipper features - depending on the thickness of my pants or socks, I used to have to adjust the laces. But with these, they have just enough give to be perpetually tied, so easy! Plus the little bit of stretch makes the boots more comfortable!

Put a set of nice elastic laces like these on your shoes or boots and they just slide in. OK, yes, it's kind of trivial, but why would anyone want to tie their shoes when they don't have to? These laces look like regular shoelaces, and let your shoe slip on like a loafer. Go for it. It's not quite The Jetsons, but. . .

Nice laces but the khaki color is more like olive green.
