Solid for HTPC over the past 5 years!
I had this board and a G3258 overclocked for over 5 years in my HTPC. It was very solid and was fine for HTPC use, esp w the video card. It over clocked my G3258 w.o. issues and was stable over time with an AIO cooler. I retired it when I moved on to a new 4k build with the Ryzen 1600AF (another bang for the buck kind of CPU with lots of value for the cost). Now this board is in a test platform helping me test other computer components.

Works well in home security system
The first one I received had several bent pins on the CPU mount due to the plastic protective cap not being installed correctly. I asked for a replacement and got it 2 days later. The new one was perfect. I mounted a I3 CPU plus 2 4GB 1600 MHz memory modules and it was off to the races. I installed the board in an old mini-tower with a new 480 watt power supply, a new SATA DVD drive, a 240GB SSD and a 2 TB hard drive. The onboard video and audio is good enough for my home security system for me. It runs 24/7 without a problem. I'm very happy with the system and the price is right.

Gigabyte LGA 1150 GA-H81M-DS2V
Pretty good board for a good price. There was a mechanical problem with the 1st board I ordered. I sent it back and received a replacement in just a couple of days. I am using an Intel Pentium 3220 quad core with 8 gb of memory and it's quite fast (enough for me anyway.) I'm running both Windows 7 and Ubuntu 14.04 and have had no problems. My only complaint is the aluminum cover plate for all the connectors to run though in the back - it doesn't fit very well. But do they ever? But overall, I'm a happy camper.

An excellent Motherboard
I have to be clear, the motherboard provides you the minimum: few ports, few expansion slots and few memory slots in a such little board, but the quality is amazing.I did purchase this one in order to replace my old Intel dg33bu and I can't be happier, the normal sys temp is around 40 Celsius idle and like 44 Celsius when busy (my old dg33bu did reach 56 degrees when idle) and there is nice support for almost all 4th gen Intel CPU, so I have plenty of options if I wish to upgrade the CPU.

Great low price micro ATX motherboard for budget builds.
Great as a micro ATX budget build motherboard. Paired this with the Intel Pentium G3220 for a budget build and have been running flawlessly for 6-8 hours a day for a month and a half now.Build quality is what you'd expect from a name brand, easy to work with and install components, straightforward manual and simple BIOS.Only thing I could mention as a negative would be the placement of the SATA ports can get a little crammed with the RAM slots right above and the ATX power connectors right next to them. Overall, solid purchase.

The only issue I had with this board was when I installed the OS and it didn't recognize my HDD. I ended up loading the OS on my other rig and swapping HDD's. You can get the driver file from Gigabyte to use during installation but it did not work for me.

Not the best for overclocking. Beware
Great for the price but it should be noted that the voltage settings are limited so overclocking is a pretty big no in most cases

No problems whatsoever! Best choice. I've bought other mother boards that come with bent pens, memory cards not functioning. This motherboard came in perfect condition. Great buy.
