Clean & quality but taste, meh
I’ve ordered this product twice now. I do a wide array of workouts from weights to running to multi-functional. I’ve taken aminos from different companies for a long time but started to finally really research & felt much safer taking Thorne. The flavor isn’t the best if you add too much water. I’ve always added around 20oz to my intra-workout aminos with no problem but this one will get watered down. I adjusted and it’s been good. I’m also used to awful tasting soups and just powering through worse and this flavor is better than stuff I took up till the last few years. Newer people to using supplements might not like the flavor at all but trust me all workout supplements used to be awful. My recovery & muscle growth/lift gains have remained the same to the other products I’ve used with more mystery ingredients so there was no drop off there. I’m okay with taking a step back on taste and variety rather than putting mystery crap in my body from lesser regulated big companies. Product quality wins this for me & I’ve heard from multiple non-Thorne associated experts that vouched for Thrones testing.

Working!
This supplement was recommended by my surgeon to take after total knee replacement . Everything he’s recommended so far is helping with a speedy recovery!

Flavor is a problem
The flavor ……it’s tough. It’s like drinking a sweet TART. Emphasis on tart. No better way to describe . Can’t get past the flavor to make other comments .

Tastes like a supplement should
This is subtly sweet and mildly tart…it’s just right! Too many people require supplements to be ridiculously sweet! They need to go off sugar for 4 weeks and reset their tastebuds… not everything needs to taste like a candy bar. This aminos powder is a supplement and it tastes like one. It dissolves beautifully in water.

Bad taste
I’m sure the quality is the highest, but I need Thorne to go back to the drawing board on the taste is absolutely unbearable and I can tolerate a lot of nasty supplements. I use their unflavored creatine.

Great formula, but desperate for an unflavored option
I’ve been incorporating Thorne’s Amino Complex into my daily stack, and from a nutritional standpoint, it’s hard to beat. The clinical dosing of essential amino acids is exactly what I’m looking for to support my recovery and fitness goals. Thorne is usually my go-to for purity and quality, and this product is no exception when it comes to the actual ingredients. However, the flavor profile is a significant drawback. To be blunt: the flavors are just not good. They feel chemically and overly sweet, which makes it a chore to drink rather than a supplement I look forward to. I would much prefer an unflavored and unsweetened version. Having the option to just mix the raw powders into water or my own beverage without the unnecessary flavorings and sweeteners would be a game-changer. If you’re sensitive to artificial tastes or just prefer a "cleaner" experience, the current options might be a struggle. Pros: High-quality amino acid profile. Trusted brand with great sourcing. Cons: Flavors are unpleasant and too sweet. No "naked" or unflavored option available.

Solves Muscle Fatigue/Joint Pain
In the midst of immunotherapy and trying to return to my former running performance level, experiencing note worthy muscle fatigue and joint pain, after 1 hour of running. Over the counter pain meds don't make a difference, but through multiple runs, I've noticed while drinking this product late in a run, I feel normal for roughly an hour. Highly recommend if you're an athlete struggling with the side effects of immunotherapy.

Moisture
Thorne is usually a good product, but this came in with moisture that clumped up the powder even though it was still sealed

Received Damaged. Ineligible for return.
The sachets are damaged. Some of them are hard and not even in powder form. And the bag has a rotten smell. Doesn’t feel safe to consume at all.
