We really like this shampoo, and have been using it for years. My husband was concerned when he saw an article with a list of products that may contribute to hair loss. The article noted that SOME Mane ‘n Tail shampoos and conditioners contain DMDM hydantoin, a formaldehyde releaser that has been linked to hair loss and scalp irritation. However, that ingredient is not used in this, the original formula shampoo. I’m giving this product only 4 stars due to the fact that when I opened the Amazon packaging I found a fair amount of the shampoo all over the outside of the intact bottle. It appears that the seller knew this was likely to happen as they had sealed the bottle in a Mylar envelope before placing it in the shipping box. I can only guess at the cause for the leakage, and am disappointed at the wasted shampoo. I’m not returning it as I specifically bought this item because I wanted the smaller bottle, which is easier to handle in the shower than the larger size. I will refill this bottle with shampoo from one of the larger sized bottles in the future.

Three washings and I like this product. Has brought the shine back to my hair. My hair feels both softer and fuller at the same time.

I enjoy that this is only of the only products that isn’t owned by a company that owns multiple product labels. It’s very, very good at cleaning your hair, just perhaps not for my hair type.

For myself not a horse. It leaves my hair clean and soft.

J’ai commandé cet article suite à l’avis d’une amie qui est coiffeuse pour utilisation personnelle j’étais un peu dubitatif et curieuse car c’est un produit destiné pour les animaux . Mais au final j’en suis très satisfaite l’odeur est très agréable il sent très bon À utiliser avec le conditionneur laisse les cheveux doux il répare bien les cheveux abîmés quand à la pousse .j’ai davantage plus de chevelure mais je ne sais pas si cela a un impact sur la pousse du cheveux . J’ai des cheveux colorés blond . J’utilise en complément après le conditionneur une fois par semaine un soin des jaunisseur . Je le recommande pour tout type de cheveux juste précision pour les cheveux colorés utiliser un autre shampooing à côté pour donner de la brillance à la couleur .
