439309 Polyform III Polymer Clay 8 Oz: White

I'm not a polymer clay sculpter or enthusiast. I just wanted to make two hand print ornaments with my toddlers this year for Christmas. The clay shipped quickly. It was a little hard out of the package but with the warmth from my hands and a bit of kneading, it softened and was workable. The 8 oz. block was perfect and made two ornaments with just a little bit left over. It took quite a bit of pressure and pressing to get my toddlers' hand prints deep enough to show all the details. But once we achieved it, all the details including fine fingerprints were captured. it was easy to bake in the toaster oven to set. I placed them on a foiled lined try and baked as instructed (I did turn the temperature down a little lower than recommended because I read online that the white clay can brown when heat is too high) for about 15 to 20 minutes. I'm very happy with the clay and the ornaments we made. The kiddos had a lot of fun making them. I would recommend this product for price, versatility, and ease of use.

This is great quality clay and it is not dry or hard like some other clays we’ve tried, and it’s probably your best bet for polymer cay. At first it is a bit tough, but once you work it for about 20 seconds or so, it gets really soft and smooth and easy to work with. It also arrives super fast so if you need some clay last minute, this would be the best. :)

I love Sculpey III ... it's always soft and pliable, so it's easy to use. But, despite it's softness it is strong and holds whatever shape you make, whether in a mold or hand sculpted! I recommend this clay to anyone, as young as 3, (it's also non-toxic) or as old as me (80)!

Haven’t used clay since highschool (4 years ago) when I was in a ceramics class, these are obviously completely different kinds of clay, however the sculpey clay was easy to use even though I never had experience with it before. I didn’t make anything elaborate, just coasters, but I still found it enjoyable. I really loved that it came in just a set of white as I didn’t want nor need any other color. The white’s really great because I was able to use acrylic paint on it after it cooled down. The instructions on how to bake it were right on the package so I didn’t have to worry about baking it too little or too long.

I like to be able to have the plane as A starter when using colors for faces to be added to to make it more natural. Also a good face if you’re going to be painting or adding something to it.

I love this clay - Only wish I could get it in bulk but no one sends it in bulk to Ireland . I could get it in the US but the postage is prohibitive. This clay is great for general sculpting and holds fine details well.

I love working with Sculpey III. Easy to work with, didn’t stick to everything unlike another product I bought at the same time. I will buy this again.
