My initial thoughts are positive. The battery itself seems to be of good quality. It’s not quite on par with a factory Samsung replacement, but it’s not far off. Avg use seems to render roughly a day and a half of activity, which suits my needs just fine. Installation went fine with the help of a couple videos from YT. My only complaints with the purchase are the instructions and the gasket material provided. I find the gasket material utterly useless. I purchased e7000 adhesive to seal and secure the back cover, and I’m glad I did. I wouldn’t have been able to finish installation without it. I wish double sided tape or e7000 adhesive was included rather then the included gasket. If you purchase any of these battery replacement kits, definitely get a tube of E7000. It’s a great way to insure success with the installation.

I had this battery installed at a cost of $40 (and that was a discount - reg $60) because my battery went bad. It has been installed for two days as of this review. Thus far the battery life is NOT impressive. I charged it to 100% and started using it the next morning. The battery drained at least 1% every time I used it. After making two phones calls and sending four text messages the battery was at 91%. It continued to drain when used so much so that I stopped using it to see how the life would last. With moderate use the battery drained down to 23% by the end of the work day. I let it go down to 8% and recharged. This morning 9/18/2019, it was 100% again and as of 3:52PM has drained to 42% with moderate use. I will never be able to make it through a whole day and early evening like this - and now I'm stuck because I REFUSE to buy another battery and pay to have it installed again. It's better than nothing - but not by much...

Once charged the battery holds a charge fairly well. Just not like the phone did when it was new. This may not be the batteries fault though. It may be that software makes the phone use more power now a days.But......since installing this battery, the phone will only wirelessly charge half the time. I mean sometimes it will charge on the wireless charger and sometimes it won't. It will always show the red 'charging' light and the battery will show the little 'charging' lightning bolt, but it will only actually charge half the time. If I plug it into a charge cable it charges every time. But who want's that when you can charge wirelessly. And yes I've tried it on different wireless chargers including all the ones that used to work all the time.

It's crap. Don't waste your money. Fake reviews, fake reviews everywhere.I had to replace my screen and so while I had the thing open I thought I'd go ahead and replace the original battery. I'm the little time I've had installed its degraded to a point that's worse than the one I replaced.It's relatively heavy but it doesn't have good capacity and was never as good as the oem.

Ended up having local shop remove broken rear case since it is GLASS and was making a mess... Mark my words, invest in a heatgun and buy a spare back cover if you want to do this yourself...that adhesive is almost hermetic...but not quite. Be ready for glass to shatter, and use eye protection, as well as a fropcloth or other way to gather shards and small granules of glass when you get impatient, and try to pry the back off too fast, before the adhesive melts...just sayin, learn from my mistakes, and plan ahead.

Easy to replace the battery on my wife's note 5 with the directions. If you can use a screw driver you can do this replacement yourself rather than paying $100.00 to have it done at a cell phone repair shop. The key is patience as you're removing the back panel on the phone and don't lose any of the small screws!

I have had this battery in my note 5 for 4 months now and it lasts, on average, 18 hours. With GPS on high accuracy and screen on continuously lasts 8 hours. I am very pleased. Original battery was 5 years old and down to lasting only a few hours.I did destroy the back trying to get it off. It seems no amount of heat was enough to soften the glue. A new back was only $8 or $10 so you may want to just order one before doing the job. Other than getting the back off replacement was very easy. Highly recommend.

I received this kit a few days ago. I did not want to leave a review until I was able to test the battery in my phone for a few days. I'll admit battery life is average. I can go almost all day without a charge but I did have to charge it at lesse twice in one day.The tools and adhesive was a welcome addition and most needed so nice work thinking about that.Overall I will buy again and so should you!
