PowerDoF 1 FD280B Premium Countertop Food Dehydrator with 5 Adjustable Tray Drying System, green

I am using it for the first time now—the noise level is not as bad as I thought it would be, but the direction booklet for a “newbee” to dehydrating is HORRENDOUS!!! I wanted to start with parsley—it only said a time recommendation but nothing about heat?? And the recommended time was 2-8 hours!! There is only a “little” difference between the max and min! It does seem to be drying the parsley at this point, but more direction would help make me feel better about the product.

The media could not be loaded.  Always wanted one but was never satisfied with entry point models until today. I've dehydrated apples, bananas, and jerky. It's very simple, the booklet comes with recommended times from vegetables, fruits, meats, spices, breads and nuts. It's very simple to use and very quiet. Produced less sound than my air fryer and house fans. The smells others refer to is the reason it's recommended to wash and fully dry before use. No smell after I washed it. Very easy to hand clean. Go figure the Best tasting jerky is the one.made at home. First attempt at teriyaki and buffalo ranch, best jerky ever.

Save up a few more dollars and get yourself a better dehydrator. The most frustrating thing about this one is that the "shelves" are so difficult to stack correctly. It doesn't help that the plastic feels really cheap and makes a horrible "squeaking" sound when it's rubbing together.What ends up happening is I take the "shelves" off to rearrange the food, swap out the food, whatever, and not only does it make that high-pitched squeaking noise, but it is *so very* difficult to stack back perfectly. It is a VERY frustrating time.

Its good if you don't want to dehydrate more than apples, bananas or other fruit. I was disappointed in the tray construction and frustration set in fast.

I used it 10 month...and now it does not work. There was no damage. Abrobtely it does no work.
