Anti-Theft Classic Essential Messenger Bag

Great travel bag for my upcoming trip to NYC and D.C. I got the "Midnight". I would say it's a "blue black" color. The fabric looks very strong and well-made and should be very durable. It's large enough to hold a lot! Should be very versatile. Very well made and has all of the theft proof features as described. The zippers are an attractive flat silver, not shiny and work very smoothly. The strap is a little on the wide side so it will stay on the shoulder easier and more comfortably than a very narrow strap. Lots of compartments for organization and the front zip pocket holds my large cell phone easily. It even has a little light attached to a strap inside the bag which I just loved. Great idea! A bag like this for the sale price of under $35 is a real bargain! I've seen bags like this at department stores for $75 or more.

I have been using Travelon bags for years. They are well made and give you peace of mind with their anti theft features. I have one that I have been using daily for 10 years and it shows very little wear. I purchased this particular purse because it is large enough to carry whatever I need but not too large so that I would fill it with things I don’t need. That was becoming an issue with my other Travelon purse which I will continue to use when I actually travel. Initially the inside front zipper came out of alignment when I was inspecting my new purchase but it was easy enough to get it working again. It has two no zipper pockets inside. One of which easily fits my reading glasses. There is also an inside zippered pocket and a key strap. The front pocket easily fits my iPhone 14 and has many card pockets which are RFID blocking . I have a small wallet that does that so I use them for little things like toothpicks and mints. The color of this particular purchase was represented as purple but in my opinion it is actually indigo blue. A little disappointing but not a game changer. I am quite happy with my new purse.

I've been a customer of Travelon bags for several years. My last bag had a zipper issue after several years and I bought this model as a replacement. Its an excellent medium-small bag- ideal for city use. It holds a full size wallet, external battery, and other items, but is ideal size to keep your bag from getting too heavy. I particularly love the outer pockets- the front has a single zip side with inner zip (ideal for frequently needed valuables or keys) while the rest the pocket has two organizers, slots for several cards (i use for metro cards), and large enough to hold my smartphone. Love the safety features including slash proof panels and strap. I don't frequently use the locking zippers but they are great to have when at a concert, airport, or other crowded area, as well as when traveling in pickpocket prone areas for peace of mind. The bag is easily to wipe clean (and in the past i have done full hand washes of the other bags and know they wash well).

Lovely purse for travel with several small pockets and good anti theft feature where the zippers lock. However, it is not big enough for my iPad 10th generation to fit with its case. I also prefer a travel bag with a spot for a water bottle. If I did not require the iPad and the water bottle, I would probably keep this purse. The fabric is sturdy and higher quality than the thin nylon ones. Looks like a very sturdy bag!

This is a great every day crossbody bag. I love the adjustable strap and the storage capacity this bag offers as well as the secure closures for each zipper compartment. As with all Travelon bags (I have 3), I enjoy knowing that I can secure the bag to a chair or post if I need to in a crowded restaurant to prevent it from being snatched. This bag is large enough inside to hold a wallet, brush, sunglasses, and a small or regular water bottle if need be. The outside pockets are great for my phone and keys on either side of the bag. The larger pocket has slots for cards as well. Inside is one zippered pocket for personal items. The strap is comfortable and does not slip off my shoulder as some purse straps have in the past. Overall, I believe this bag to be durable although it would be prudent to use care with the zippers as they seem "touchy" at times.

I don't usually leave long, detailed reviews, but this time I have to. I used this purse/bag on a 3-week trip to 2 countries in Europe, and it was one of the best travel purchases I made. I just ordered another to have as backup in the (apparently unlikely) event this one gets messed up. Highly recommend. Pros: - Lightweight and comfortable: I wore it crossbody, and it was lightweight enough that I forgot I was wearing it. Comfortable strap. - Durable: lasted 3 weeks through 9 cities, 4 train rides, several crowded subway rides, countless bus rides, many miles of walking and hiking, and 2 kids pulling and tugging on it. -- the strap held (no stretching, well reinforced), no damage to the fabric, and all the snaps and fasteners are still working great. It went through a lot of wear. The only minor damage was when one of the threads on the front pocket got ripped (rough handling while carrying a kiddo), but it didn't unravel and lasted 2 more weeks intact. -- Secure: I felt 100% better on crowded subways & buses in Italy since it would take some extra maneuvering to open the pockets. You have to slide/unfasten the fastener before unzipping. It's easy for the wearer to get used to. -- Roomy: It easily held my wallet, the holder for 3 passports, regular-sized sunscreen, extra change, small hand sanitizer bottle, a few hand wipes, and miscellaneous kid items (acorns, small souvenirs, etc.) -- Didn't get dirty after spills, getting dragged across ground, etc... just brushed/washed dirt off. I'm a fan.

I’d been looking for casual lightweight bag that I could use cross body without it being bulky on the hip when worn. This meets all of that. The pockets are mega and sooo many compartments for all the junk that we have to carry these days . Face masks, sanitisers, phone, purse , cards.. etc… All the zips are excellent quality as is the strap and there’s a special little mechanism that can keep the zip locked when carrying. I bought the purple and it goes with all my casual wear effortlessly. There were some minor stitching errors on the front pocket but not enough for me to deduct any stars from this excellent bag. Radley market one similar but this one beats it hands down no contest. I can see me using this for many years to come.

An excellent bag for holidays and fits a small water bottle. Deters pick pockets once they see the locking mechanisms.

This bag is the best! Holds a lot of stuff. Initially bought for trip to Europe and it was perfect. The safety features are really effective. love this handbag so much, bought it in several colours and use it as my everyday bag. Worth every penny. Highly recomment
