(2/20/24) i received and used it last night. the shampoo smells good. the conditioner smells a little weird to me but not necessarily “bad” weird. neither of them smell so strong that the scent lingers or anything though. i don’t notice a huge difference in frizz or anything (but that’s most likely a fault on my part for not knowing how to style my hair lol). my hair does feel cleaner than it would with my old shampoo (native brand). and my hair feels “lighter” if that makes sense. like it’s not being weighed down by any residues or anything like that. so far i like it :) as for thickening-results, i’ll obviously have to wait to share that. so i’m setting a reminder on my phone to remind me to update this review every 3 months, maybe for the next year or so, with pictures and whatnot. (2/26/24) i know i said id right a review 3 months from now (and i still will) but i wanted to mention that i’ve washed my hair twice now with this stuff and my hair is definitely feeling softer. like silky soft. i love it :) (6/27/24) sooo i finally caved and saw a curly hair specialist ($$$ 😮‍💨). i’ve only ever gotten trims—never a haircut. but my hair had gotten so long (past my butt) that all that weight pulled the curl out of my hair. plus, as i mentioned before, idk how to style my hair lol so i needed help from a curly hair specialist to figure out what the heck to do with my mane. i won’t belabor all the details she shared with me, but apparently *another* reason my curls were kind of limp was because of certain products i was using (like shea moisture leave in conditioner, for example). my hair in particular needs a water based, light, “airy” kind of moisture, NOT a heavy, oil-based product that would only cause my hair to lay flat. anyways, the hair stylist asked what shampoo/condish i used, and i showed her this, and she said that this would be good to use once in a while to “deep clean,” but that i shouldn’t use it on a regular basis. ACV cleans VERY thoroughly, so it will remove all the build up of products and everything, which is good! but if you use it too frequently, it can be too drying and leave your hair more vulnerable to damage and whatnot. so as of now, i’m using R+Co shampoo/condish as per her recommendation, and using the ACV products like once a month or so. my hair still feels soft and silky :) i have not necessarily noticed an increase in thickness, although i can’t say that that’s a fault of the product, since im using it far less frequently now. my hair is very thick to begin with. my concern was that my hair began to thin out near my temples (probably due to autoimmune issues.. which a shampoo cannot fix on its own anyway lol). anyways, this may or may not be my last review. i just wanted to conclude that i like this product a lot! and to share what my hair stylist said about overusing this, which, you’re welcome to do with that info as you please. just food for thought :)

I trust this cruelty-free brand and already use quite a few of their products. For reference my hair type is 1C, double processed with highlights to blend grey and past my shoulders. I blow dry and use heat styler / curling iron a few times a week, so my hair takes a beating and I use quite a bit of hair products, This shampoo and condition makes my hair feel super squeaky clean and leaves my hair feeling smooth healthy and NOT weighed down. Both shampoo and conditioner have a lovely scent. PLUS it is safe for color treated hair. For years, I have used Fekkai Apple Cider clarifying shampoo and it was discontinued - I found this to be a very good alternative to that now defunct line, at less than half the price of the shampoo alone! I don't use this shampoo every time I wash, as it is a clarifying shampoo for build up, maybe use it only twice a month, But I will probably use the conditioner every time I wash. Very happy to have found this.

I've used half a bottle of this shampoo, and here are my thoughts. I have a scalp prone to dandruff, itching, and some hair loss. After using the product for the first week, my scalp became even more dandruff-prone, itchier, and I experienced slightly more hair loss. Perhaps my scalp hadn't adapted yet. Because my scalp is sensitive to many products, I chose this natural product. After a few weeks, the condition improved. My hair loss decreased, and the itching lessened, but there was no improvement in dandruff. I know this isn't a dandruff treatment product, and I'm just sharing my personal opinion.

Hi everyone! I just want to share how much I love this PURA D’OR Apple Cider Vinegar Thin2Thick shampoo and conditioner set. I honestly didn’t expect to notice such a big difference, but my hair feels thicker, cleaner, and super soft after just a few uses. It smells fresh without being too strong, and the mix of biotin, keratin, and ACV makes my scalp feel amazing. My whole family started using it too, and everyone’s been saying how great their hair feels. We have recommended it to so many family and friends because it’s that good! I have proof of this working because my hair was dyed really dark brown, I’m naturally dirty blonde so the grow out has been pretty obvious. I’ve no joke been using this for three months and the amount my hair has grown is insane. I thought it would dry out my hair also, but it’s pretty soft. I have medium fine hair, and it’s made my hair way stronger, I lose much less hair in the shower which is helpful because I have PCOS. My best friend is a hair stylist and she says that apple cider vinegar has this affect on people’s hair so it really is the real stuff. Trust me though, it’s worth the price. I have an app called Yuka that scans barcodes and tells you if there’s any harmful additives to food or beauty products, and this one has a fantastic score to top it all off. I’ll buy it again and again

Helped my hair to fall leds

This shampoo didn’t do nothing but make my hair feel brittle. I didn’t like the smell and wasn’t looking forward to using it. It’s also really expensive. But I gave it few stars because the idea is good.

I wish I had tried this sooner. I have been having issues with my hair falling out. I tried this and am literally stunned at how much nicer my hair / scalp feels and looks. I normally use a dandruff shampoo but since using this, I have not had to. If you have scalp and brittle hair issues, I cant recommend this enough. I have not used it long enough to know if it will make my hair grow more but even if it doesn't I have already seen an amazing improvement with just one wash.
