After installed, wait overnight, the the item is primed and ready to go.

Works easily to get water from my 4 inch diameter well. Well is 125 ft deep. Lots of water.
Great for extra well when grid goes down.

I only rated it one star, because I couldn't rate it zero stars.
Installed it and used it once, never would work ever again. Looks like it rusted or the leather seal dried out and couldn't hold a proper seal or something. This thing is an absolute waste of money for actual water pump purposes. I'm questioning the reliability of this product in high humidity areas.
