if you get anything more than a 3 pound fish say good by unless you are a very experienced angler

I bought this one and another same length and dimensions this one look the part. Good saddle for holding reel. I've got a m8 who swears by these telescopic rods. Easy to use eas to store look flimsy but the an cope with a twenty pound carp easily. My m8s had a 15lb barbel on his and anyone who's caught a barbel that big know what a fight the put up, also with the current of a fast flowing river it has to be tough. NY local fifher has lots of 20lb plus carp so luck willing it should be a good test for this rod.

Although the delivery was fast and the packaging with almost impossible to get into. The rod did arrive.I'm kind of scared to test it tbh as the day I got it I bent the tip just a little bit and I hear a cracking sound almost like i'd snapped a twig.Comes with a nice cloth bag and that's all I can say really

The rod certainly looks good but there are a few issues that I guess comes with a cheap rod. A few gaps where handles and butt join. Some of the rings are not level either.A strange addition to this rod is a loose sliding ring in the very last section. I'm unsure of its purpose but just seems strange to have a sliding ring when all the others are attached firmly. I also don't know if this will damage the rod over time

Compact, well presented bit of kit, ideal with a small real loaded with 20lb braid really useful travel kit. Over packaged by Amazon, but very well protected.

Packs easily into suitcase with a few fishing accessories. Seems strong and versatile.

Very pleased haven’t used it yet but looks as it will do the job nicely looking forward to taking it on holiday
