This was a Christmas gift for my mom, not sure if she uses them. Not great for people with small hands

The item is as described, good area of protection, I just wish it would had been a little bigger and higher for more coverage. Easy to use.

Update July 2020: 5 star rating! I have used these for a year now, and I love them! I have not had any more issues with cutting fingers due to my shaking hands. They go in the dishwasher just fine. I have washed them multiple times. I put the in the utensil rack. No issues. :) I highly recommend these guards!! I bought this guard set because I sliced the <bleep> out of my left index finger while cutting up chicken. My hands get very shaky at times and the knife slipped. Enter ER visit here. Not fun. :( I was trying to decide between finger guards and a glove, but it seemed the glove would be unsanitary after a while. So, I began looking for guards. After reviewing many guards (who knew there were so many out there?!), I chose the Mad Shark set. I really liked that you got two in the package. It was cost effective for me. Anyway, the guards arrived on time. The case is great for storing the guards. They would probably get lost in my utensil drawer otherwise. The guards are very sturdy, and I can see myself using them for a long time. I give them 4 stars, because I have only used them a couple times so far. Getting used to them is tricky. I am still figuring it out. I highly recommend these guards. Especially if you are like me and have shaky hands or other difficulties managing knives.

I gave to my daughter. I was unable to use because I have to hold on to the onions or carrots or whatever I'm cutting, so it was too clumsy for me to use. Looks like a great product though for anyone who gets used to them.

Works fairly well on my fingers. Tried to adjust the finger ring to fit my wife’s fingers and the ring broke off the guard. Do not recommend this product!
