Followed a TikTok creator recipe that called for Mutti. I’ve never saw this in our local grocery store so Amazon to the rescue! It was higher priced than I’d like to pay for Sunday sauce/gravy but if it’s as good as people say, ok. It is as good as the creator said it would be! So good, the last of it that was for photos was eaten by a visitor when I wasn’t home 🫤 Luckily I found in a neighboring town grocery store for much less. Grabbed another 2bottles and I’ll post this weekend. It’s spicy but not heat spicy, it’s tomato-ee/cheesey/garlicy. Try this! I promise you’ll love this if you love Italian saucy food!

I like it on several levels. 1st. taste. 2nd. it's in a bottle with a lid, I use what I need, cap it, refrig it, and keep until next time, no waste.

A slight delay in shipping but all 6 bottles arrived safely. I liked the way they double-boxed the passata, wrapped each one in bubble wrap to help prevent breakage. This is the best tomato puree on the market!

Well considering my order looked like there was a bloody body part inside, I can’t say how the Passata tomato sauce tastes. It said it was a nonrefundable item, but I clicked something re: damaged box/damaged items that hopefully will send me a replacement. Obviously this went straight into the trash!

I bought this based on some descriptions and photos that were posted on Facebook. I’ve been looking for a sauce similar to the one my parents used to can when I was growing up. It was pricey but people liked it.As soon as I opened the first bottle I was taken back to my childhood. I could smell my parent’s passada.I cooked it with my sausages and let it simmer for a few hours. When I served dinner my husband kept remarking how good the pasta was.He loves my sauce, but rarely keeps commenting on it. And he was right. The taste, to me, didn’t compare to my normal “sugu”.The sauce is thick and rich in fresh tomato flavor. It’s easy to use and came packaged very safely, no breaks or loose lids. This was a good buy, in spite of the price. But I’m going to try to find it cheaper, maybe in an Italian deli somewhere.

I think the price on this was fine. The Taste is fabulous it's excellent to add a little to some canned tomatoes to give it a little bit more sweetness and freshness if you want to whip up some quick homemade sauce if you're out of it but happen to have a can of diced or stewed tomatoes. A little bit seems to go a long way as it's very flavorful. I would recommend this product highly.

I love this brand of tomato sauce. No preservatives and the acidity is just right jot like cans or others that they are so acid that change the taste of your meal.

What can I say other than the favor is pure and lovely, the bottles are reusable, no can taste or plastic danger.
