Contec Sporicidin Disinfectant Solution - 1 gallon

The movers brought in mold spores with the boxes and furniture I left in a "climate-controlled" facility that falsely advertised "climate control". It wasn't. There was no dehumidification system there. So my fine furniture, clothes and belongings all arrived loaded with mold spores, black mold to be exact as well as penicillium ascomycetous fungi. So basically, mold and mildew arrived at my new apartment which was freshly painted with newly installed carpeting. The movers created a complete nightmare that would last 2 years before I woke up to the fact that I was terribly poisoned. I studied remediation and had a professional remediator come TWICE. Then used an ozone generator; rented a 500 CFM industrial Air Scrubber from Home Depot; had a professional shampoo company come to clean the upholstery; had a different professional shampoo company do the carpeting TWICE; rented a Bissell Shampoo cleaner myself to clean the carpeting; bleached, cleaned and washed everything on an ongoing basis; also included vinegar but still ended up throwing out most of my furniture and belongings. Then I began the process of purchasing anti-mold sprays along with the use of 3 different air machines (one having UV, two having ionizing capabilities, etc.). I purchased endless true HEPA and black activated carbon filters, which was costly, but it had to be done. I am now an expert on mold remediation sprays and those which contain and kill mold spores and mildew. Concrobium does not work, just so you know. Ace Hardware recommended it and it totally doesn't do a thing. RMR-141 Mold Killer doesn't work very well either. It has very little affect. Lemoncide (purchased on Amazon) did not work so I returned it. Melaleuca Tea Tree Oil was preventative but the manufacturers were surprised to learn it did not work to kill black mold. So they took it back and were very nice about it. Btw, there are a LOT of sellers out there who advertise mold killing products but almost none do. This one was the only remediation product which successfully killed the mold and mold spores, plus the mildew in my apartment. Had I not found this, I would have had to replace the entire carpeting in my complex. So read these reviews, because in all honestly, people know! Had this Sporicidin Disinfectant not worked, I would have had one more trick up my sleeve, given to me by a professional remediator. It's called "Shock Wave". However, this product is not offensive in odor, smells like the library paste we used as kids to make pictures and cut-outs in grade school. I spray the carpeting extensively, and then seal off the room for around 24 hours. The next day there is no mold odor whatsoever. I simply vacuum the carpeting after a day to absorb any dead spores left over. Make sure your vacuum has a HEPA filter. So that's it! Don't waste your money on dozens of products. This one truly works, and it's very, very powerful. You don't want to be around it after spraying so be sure to be away from the fumes for at least 24 hours if not longer. I open windows to ventilate but avoid using overhead ceiling fans. They will simply blow the mold and its spores all over your environment. Just spray and set. Good luck!

Great disinfecting power for home use. Comparable to that used in hospitals

Seems to work well, though fumes /smell is super strong. I covered up while spraying via a canister that you pump up and spray. The coverage was much better that way vs spray bottle. I feel better about the floors being cleaner and I believe it did kill any and all mold. I ordered a second bottle for any additional areas.

This stuff is great for killing mold but you have to be so careful that you don’t wipe over the same area again. It has to be very sterile to prevent the spores from spreading

This product is a must to treat mold and mildew problems.

We bought this item based off a recommendation from an HVAC cleaning company. We did the vent cleaning ourselves to remediate brown mold. We purchased a big spray pump like for pesticides and my husband sprayed a lot into our ducts. You probably dont need this much. It smelled still after 8 hours of this generous application but after we went to sleep the smell was completely gone. So 1:30 pm to 7 am the smell was completely gone! Now to vacuum out the dead innocuous mold and we’re done.
