Fantastic for the price! Easy to set up and great sound without any issuesI use them for my home cinema via optical cable and for bluetooth music playback.

I had high hopes for this thing and bought it even though I had some reservations since the previous version had mixed reviews about quality. Sadly mine was defective - the main speaker which has the volume control / input selector produced no sound at all. Only the left speaker produced sound. Returned for a refund.

Good sound

We needed a bluetooth speaker to listen to iPad music in the house and chose this as it’s allot smarter and cleaner looking than most in this price range. The Bluetooth connection works seamlessly even a room away from the source and the sound quality is superb with rich bass and very clean midrange. They are powerful speakers and even at higher volumes the sound is clear and really enjoyable.

If you're reading this then like me you are probably umming and ahhing about if you should get these, the Audioengine A2s, or a set of Kantos for a clean look and quality sound. Or you're looking at the black or bamboo ones and are just keen on the sound. Either way, you probably haven't seen many reviews, and the ones on here put you off a bit.I got these today and they are brilliant. I replaced a set of Logitech Z623s, which are well known as very good quality desktop speakers with 200W RMS power and THX sound, and I have not seen a huge difference in my usual use. Obviously there is no sub, but even then there is adequate bass given the size of them.I am a light user and I listen to a variety of non-audiophile music (hip-hop, drum and bass, lo-fi, R&B, and some older stuff - the audiophiles reading this are probably cringing now haha) and the sound is very impressive. The pair are not too bass heavy, not tinny at all, and there is no distortion.The auto standby feature is really useful, if using my computer I like everything to come on with it so this was a really big pro for me.I was worried about the size as I was initially looking for the Minis however on my fairly large desk (180cm wide) the standard Neos fit fine together with my 34" ultrawide monitor, ATX PC, and 2 plants.If you're looking at these instead of the speakers I mentioned at the start, just get them. Wavemaster obviously know what they're doing.
