I have several of these different size for everywhere in my house. Although she balls them up she will still lay on top of them. I have one in her small night time crate that fits perfectly. I used a tape measure to size before ordering. They have been washed several times and dried on low. I have had them for almost a year and have held up just fine.

The cooling feature is decent and they can be misted with water to help the cooling effect. My elderly dog has been having some issues with bladder control. I figured out they make great pee pads with a little portable washer. The portable washer can clean them pretty well with no dry cycle needed. Just leave them slightly damp and they stay cool a bit longer. For me, these have done well as per pads for my dogs oversized bed that is really hard to clean. I have multiple layers down for protection but these are my sacrificial, easy wash, top layer with that little extra cooling.

Not what I expected, but it’s cooler than the floor. My dog seems to like it. If you’re looking for something that is super cold, this is not the product for you. This is a soft material which is nice & it is washable. Doesn’t require putting it in the freezer or filling it with water, etc. I think it’s just made of a material that is cooler & holds cold better than other materials.

Arrived quickly. SEEMED like a good price point. Not fluffy or cushioned. Perhaps it is useful if you are placing outdoors on a spikey lawn or sand, but a beach towel would still provide the same. As far as my four dogs liking it placed on hardwood or vinyl floors? They preferred the floor (just like the dog in the video, so no surprise). As I placed each dog on it, three of them walked away. The fourth one peed on it and then walked away! Comparing it to a beach towel, the price is $3 more, it is less attractive, serves less purposes, provides far less cushion, and overall is not a recommended buy. The only upside would be that humans would know it is for their dog.

At first, I was worried with the mixed reviews - I thought I was going to get a thin sheet of fabric that was nothing but ordinary fabric. I'm so pleased I gave it a try!I was originally getting it for our dog who absolutely loves the cold wood floors in our home and was due to give birth any week. Well, due to the unexpectedness of her pregnancy... she gave birth a week early, the exact same day the cooling mat arrived! To my surprise, (and relief), she loves it! Any opportunity she can get she's on it, either curled up or sprawled out.I will admit, it is thin but nothing shocking. I wouldn't expect it to be thick because then it would just keep your pet too warm as any thick fabric would. Once again, I'm glad I got it & I went with my instincts. I'll probably be back for the pink or brown one (if not both) - they were out of those colors at the time.

This item really helped my pup stay cool in the summer heat. She enjoyed lying on this while sitting out in the garage on hot days to get a nice breeze. If you are looking for something to help out with summer heat I recommend getting this.

Honestly, my dogs prefer the floor.

When I opened the package I was disappointed that it feels more like a blanket than a pad, but after using it a few times, I really appreciate that it packs down small and doesn’t take up much room when we opt to put it in the fridge.For the price, it’s very cold and it cools my dog well enough on hotter days.If you’re looking for something more like a memory foam pad, this is not your item.
